I always thought that the "wah-ah" sounded really weird, but in a good way where my brain just loved it because of how weird it was. So needless to say, I listened to the song on repeat when it first came out. And still go back to it every now and again. And all this time, I've wondered why the fuck he says "wah-ah" in the chorus and if it's supposed to mean something. And now I know. This is closure. Thank you all. Good night.

Crazy how this was uploaded just yesterday cause I've been sitting in my room alone the last few days with just my guitar. I've never been really good but the song I've always looked at as one of the best songs ever written is Desperately Wanting. Been trying on my own to master the learning of that whole song. Of course it's simple (starts off with #F chord #A chord and #G).. But listening to one guy on YT play the whole song on acoustic gives me a real good feeling as well as motivation to not give up. Perfect song.

Better Than Ezra played with Catherine Wheel in ‘95 at a San Francisco music festival. I wonder if he told them about the influence.

That chord in King of New Orleans is a F6- basically a F major with a D added onto it
