Same, prisons been hanging over my head before I even had her. I got 2 probation officers now and an anger management counselor, I just wanna stay free , get money for her. If it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t care what they do with me

Had heart failure 3 years ago and was told I had 3 month to live. Im also on dialysis. Working 40 hours a week. 2 kids. Mom just got out of rehab. Shes working hard to do better. I rly have no option but to keep pushing. My shoulders hurt from this weight. Aint a joke. Sometimes I just sit in my car and listen to gates and cry. Then I wipe the tears and keep going

Be proud of your accomplishment and keep taking it a day at a time. Progress not perfection. Gates speaks to my soul too, 18 months sober myself, I don't come from that life, but I can respect the type of character it takes to leave it behind. Theres lehit nothing else that will stop it.. i been locked in the box 24 hr lockdown for 6 montsh str8 and got out clean and believing id never touch the shit again that lasted 1 hr. Then i fall into the trap of not doing it for pleasure but doing it to avoid pain and suffering so now its the constant feeding the addiction.. forever hopeless that things willl change.. do i want it too.. yes but i dnt want to feel all the anxiety and weird feelings aka me. So yeah idk prayers and thoughts go out to you. Ive never responded to a comment but Spirit guided me to respond to this.

I lost the love of my life almost a year ago and reason was I was to late to recognize my mistakes of not seeing or really know when she was almost done it went completely over my head with some hints through songs she had sent and asking to see if we could have a serious conversation and me thinking it was complaining about me but it was her feeling like she didn't exist when I showed of showed it 100% a different way now that I know what was the issue I was to self centered and the attention hog when I only looked like greatness because of how heavenly she was towards me. On my way

Ive never really identified with any rapper and the life and relationships they've had. Until I found kevin gates, almost every song I can really relate to, the drugs, the friends lost, chasing paper, to the love in his life. He to me is the realist rapper, every song is beautiful and the suffering of every day trying to make it, I live my life to it, real talk. 100%the realist, relatable rapper today. I appreciate his music, its really helped me with my own personal demons. Thank you Mr. Gates.

Yeah I lost my dad at 2 from a drug over dose and my mom had to tell me what happen. He was the only person besides my grandma who understood me and loved me. Then last year I lost her too. Now my brothers went crazy and are both now in prison and they ain’t Colin out till 8 years. I really miss them. I miss my grandma and dad so much

My daughter was 5 year old when her father passed ... In a 2 month time span her whole family on her dads side passed away... She 18 now but still has issues.. Her dad died of a drug over dose but we know he was murdered .. By the way his body was found and a chick was in his car and had all his money shoes phone... He was a well known dope dealer so they just brushed him off as well hes off the streets now.. When the autopsy came back they said there was enough cocaine in his body to fill a gallon milk jug... My life after this has never been the same .. I cant really say the rest of my story but its crazy . later on the girl who had his belongings was in a car wreck and died... Ill just say this im very spiritual and have been visited by the afterlife...
