Can't believe I haven't heard this song until today....truly choked me up. Born in Plano, Grew up in Lucas TX. I've been from Brownsville, to Amarillo; Texarkana, to Marfa. Lived in Houston and all over North Texas. 52 now and loving being in the Country North of Lake Pat Mayse! I would fight and Die for this land that I love.....TEXAS FOREVER!! I raise a Beer to all of you who love her and feel the same!

We're coming home to Texas in November after 20 moves all over the world. My husband's job has taken us everywhere but Texas. He's retiring & I told him it was my turn. Nothing would do but HOME!!!! Texas FOREVER!!!

I miss it, my parents decided to go home to Wisconsin and I had to follow. Even though I was 4 monhts old when we went down to Texas, I consider myself a Texan and my best friend growing up, his parents told me I am as native as he was even though he was born there. I love that state more than any other, nothing like getting lunch at a small town diner and being treated like family!

A few of my ancestors came to North Carolina from Texas and I definitely have Texan in my blood. Seeing the Texas flag and hearing awesome songs about that beautiful state like this one makes me smile. TEXAS FOREVER!

A friend shared this link with me as I'm on the verge of moving from Texas to Florida at age 54. I've lived in Texas my whole life, born in Dallas, spent 28 years in Austin and the past 8 years in Houston. This song really brought out a lot of emotions and made me realize that I'm already homesick even though I won't be hitting the road for South Florida until next week. I am 99% certain that I will be back, hopefully buying a small ranch on the outskirts of Austin in a few years.

Only a TEXAN can understand why we love that Old LONE STAR the way we do ...

I mean; I was already a Proud Native Texan.. But this song makes me even prouder to be from the Lone Star State!

you know with the flood down here in Texas my wife called me in Afghanistan saying I need to come back because our house is gone its under water i'm back Texas now we don't have a home so we are staying at my moms for now i wake up early to go help other with the flood and all i see is everyone helping each other their is no fighting everyone getting along we are Texans we rebuild and talk about the good times and bad god bless everyone

I feel you. Did 30 years in the Army (12 enlisted, the rest as an officer). Felt good coming home again to Texas. Some normalcy. Hang in there, you will do well, you are a Texas man after all!

I lived in Austin,Texas for a little over 3 years. One of the most welcoming, polite and friendly places I've lived. And, I have lived in quite a few places. I miss many things about it. I have great respect for the politeness and courtesy of the Texas natives. I never felt like an outsider.

Sunshine Jennifer Cook lived there from 08 to 14. Really miss it! My eyes nearly popped out of my head when I saw the tower and police station on the video. I'm pretty sure some of the other shots are from crane county also

My family planted their roots here long before the rio grande was a border. A bunch of Spaniards fought for her in the revolution, again in the civil war, and to this day we are here.
