This tells me they are continuing the disaster, and faking fan interest ... nobody never heard of Vision Quest or Wonder Man. Young Avengers is stupid. Young Justice, yeah , as the ANIMATED version has been ESTABLISHED. Crazy AF to do Young Avengers , when there was no set up or the worst box office failure period - its like they are doubling down on disastrous sh*t. I dont get it.

If secret invasion was longer it might actually have time to be more like the comic and do some more crazy reveals and twists

We definitely need more connectivity as well. After Endgame we should’ve seen a lot more characters working together or popping up into each other’s media like the comics. Cut the origin heavy stuff maybe an origin for the first episode or two but I don’t need to watch a show to see them suit up at the end lol. I wish they formatted it like the animated shows.

They didnt manifest the younger characters to replace the O.G.'s in the comics, they focused on ridiculous D.E.I. based characters which TANKED . it would've been better to keep Gunn and have HIM develop , that Young Avengers movie will be a SUPER DUPER SH*T SHOW. They never developed the younger students, and She-Hulk, was horrible, and so was Ms. Marvel. They would be better to go BACK to their origins and have those pre-Phase 4 writers OVERSEE the entire thing.

@@tonymontez2358 Not entirely sure if that is the case. It could be that Feige does run the show but the executives advise an idea or a request to add something. You’re not going to tell your boss no to their request or their ideas. You Have to make your bosses happy to keep your job even if it’s not something the customer, consumer, or you agrees with. To add: Could also be other shareholders that are implementing ideas and it’s being passed to Feige. Which leads him into continuing to please everyone. Just keep in mind, we’re not the only ones to please when it comes to businesses and corporations.

I just don’t think it’s fair to use someone else besides feige as a scapegoat for the blame meanwhile Kathleen Kennedy basically has the same job and always gets blamed for Star Wars being terrible

This is just like the 2015 All New All Different era in Marvel comics. Same legacy characters they were trying to push then and failed. I never understood why Feige was so quick to want to retry that disaster in the MCU when there's still decades of better source material that came before it left untouched.

ego literally they chose that era of characters out of pure ego they saw what they did with the obscure characters in the infinity Saga and thought they could do that with the worst character run they've had in years genuinely this entire size it is one giant humble pie for everyone at marvel that when they got the X-Men and fantastic four should've known then that they should've gotten at least one of those pictures off the ground as a Leading into whatever they're setting up if you've noticed they don't have a Throughline character set up throughout this entire saga we technically don't know how to even follow The current saga it's just a bunch of stories that are all over the place with some little connected tissue here and there

Because Feige got lucky with better writers, took the credit became the creative head, is now failing on his own, and wont admit it.

Idk me personally I think they should do at least Vision Quest to tie up that white vision storyline. A lot of the problems people have with the new stuff coming out is a lot of story threads aren’t being completed or being fleshed out at all. To willingly not finish that storyline would be a bad choice imo.

The trouble with the shows is that the characters end up where they began or we don't get to see them being superheroes enough.

Maybe Kevin Feige’s plan should have been not f-ing up the MCU in the first place.

It’s not difficult, fire these woke agenda pushing staff, hire nerds that will actually follow the source material from the comics. Stop focusing on non-popular characters and make the stories deep, relatable and have emotion like the past mcu movies. Having longer seasons to these shows gives them more of a chance to not only develop the characters and the plots, but to also possibly have the time to tie it in better to the universe by adding concrete world Building and meaningful cameos

Alpha Flight will be in the Wolverine project. That’s when they first met. They been planning on doing something with them because of Puck and North Star. Also they plan on the mutant’s side to be a bit more darker. Mikey Sutton said this almost 2 years ago. R.I.P. Mikey Sutton. I will provide the link to prove it.

I think the “too much output” point is exactly the issue. Too many shows and they are all sort of in their own bubbles. We don’t even have an agreed upon explanation for how the actual multiverse functions like, mechanically. Everything feels disconnected. During The Infinity Saga every single film felt like an event, every character felt important. There are plenty of characters who have been introduced in The Multiverse Saga who I really like (Yelena, Kate, Kamala) but so far I can’t say I felt the same emotional connection that I did to Tony, Natasha, Steve, Wanda, Thor etc.

Way too many. Should have focused on what they have but they should have introduced captain marvel when they introduced Ant-Man, Wasp, and Spider-Man in the MCU. I have no problem with them expanding on Monica Rambeau considering she plays a pretty big part of Kang Dynasty. But they need better writers and directors

Marvel should have limited their projects per year to around 4, 2 movies and series per year. And they should have made the multiverse saga longer than 10 yrs. Since there are lot of stories to tell.

Ms. Marvel s2 would be a great way to introduce more mutants and the X-Men just saying. You can't tease her being a mutant and not do anything with that storyline.

BAD WRITERS, UNPOPULAR CHARACTER, BAD RESULT .. it isn't rocket science. They are wrong from jump street.

The only thing I can figure is that they need to set up for the future. Most of the OG Marvel actors and characters are starting to age out and they need to start marketing to younger crowds. I get that and I'm fine with it, just write things better, and don't be lazy about it.

So the plan is to keep making bad shows but make them longer. Sounds like a great plan. The MCU is saved!

I think the idea is to start writing actual seasons of tv, instead of padding out a 2 1/2 hour movie script into 6 episodes, which is what many of the Marvel/Star Wars Disney+ shows are. The shows rarely flowed well because they weren't written for the format.

What about doing more offerings like Marvel One-Shots or Marvel Team Ups in order to create more connections between franchises?

With so many characters to flesh out, I think a Young Avengers series makes sense. And they've kicked it off with 2 characters introduced in TV series, Kamala and Kate, and with neither series or The Marvels movie exactly taking the world by storm, it doesn't seem right to immediately go into a film. None of the characters have built-in pop culture recognition like Hulk or have had their own successful movie introducing them like Thor or Captain America, or have a high-appeal star like Downey. Have a series introduce them all, build them up as a team with some identity and fan base. Once Marvel knows what works about the team on the series, find a cool way to bring them into a larger film, which will drive more people to go back and watch the show. It can be a long tail play to keep people coming back to Marvel on Disney+.

The fans want everything to be connected but then the casual viewer complains that they have to do homework in order to enjoy a single work from Marvel. How do you reconcile that? 😢

Josh, i think young avengers makes sense. We need to see young kang be innocent and what not and then when the kids find out oit hes one of the variants itll be devastating

I think Marvel should resurrect all the Marvel TV shows from before phase 4 and use them to drive everything on the tv side towards secret wars by connecting all the shows directly to each other. Sort of like two tiers of connectivity, with movies connecting to movies, shows to shows and then shows to movies.

Marvel's big mistake is that they think they can ignore pleasing the hardcore fans and try to appeal to the bigger audience. They don't seem to see that catering to hardcore fans is what made it successful to the bigger audience in the first place. Hardcore fans are the most vocal online, and they make or break everything marvel produces. They stopped listening to the fans, and they lost their way.

Yes to more Ms. Marvel, yes to more She-Hulk, and yes to more Moon Knight! As for the other shows, I'll keep an open mind. I like the idea of Vision Quest following up on WandaVision with the Agatha series in particular, because I am a sucker for the love story and I'm hoping Wanda can be reunited. I am probably the most lukewarm with Young Avengers and I have no idea what to expect with Wonder Man. Honestly couldn't care less about the Punisher... thought his show was boring compared to Daredevil. Just give me Armor Wars already!

Now that Disney has license to run Doctor Who, I think he should show up in Secret Wars to sniff out god Loki’s involvement.

I personally enjoy it all and I understand that they are possibly trying to just introduce newer characters first before branching off different teams and possibly different universes before coming into one fully. I also really hoped for VisionQuest and Wonder Man and even Young Avengers in my own opinion.

Their output for Disney+ can't go anywhere because the platform needs continuous new content to survive. Just get the shows right.

Marvel Studios need to keep it going with the Special Presentations because we need more interesting stuff to see to know what's going to happen in the MCU. And for God's sake, release the trailer for X-Men 97.

People actually care about that x men cartoon? They have more important things to worry about it’s not like the cartoon is connected to the mcu it’s just the continuation of the old cartoon

What I think the problem is with the Disney+ shows is storytelling. They are not focusing on the characters and yelling a compelling story. They are trying to lay a whole lot of ground work without enough interconnectivity to keep us interested. The few exceptions to this are WandaVision and Loki. And the reason they are the exceptions is because of compelling stories, ideas and characters. To further add to why those shows work is the implications they made in the MCU as a whole. The format they choose to tell these stories is secondary to trying good stories.

It’s broken beyond repair. Feige has no plan. One thing they should’ve done was introduce Captain marvel earlier when they introduced Ant-Man & Spider-Man. Introduce the kree/skrull war in captain marvel, the skrull invasion in a post credit scene in Endgame which should have led to Avengers: Secret Invasion They made Captain Marvel into a loner with no real connection to any of the MCU until it’s too late. Hell she coulda been teased in a guardians 1 post credit scene. Iron fist should’ve been teased in a Shang chi post credit scene. Have Yelena replace Natasha as the new Black Widow. Introduce the X-Men before secret wars. So that Photon can find her way back to her universe before Kang Dynasty because Photon plays a pretty big part in the Kang dynasty comics. The Marvels should’ve been way better than what it was. But a whole lot could’ve been done if they would’ve stuck to the formula of continuity and having characters pop up in movies but not take away the shine from the lead characters. With Disney+ they should bring back the Netflix MCU. There’s so much potential there. Daughters of the Dragon, Heroes for hire, the defenders done right.

Longer series doesn’t have to always mean bigger budget. Just look at Ultraman and Kamen Rider, those are longer superhero shows and I doubt they spend 10% of the budget marvel spends. And they still look like good superhero shows.

SheHulk was the result of an abusive relationship between a trainwreck and a dumpster fire. Why can't we please just forget it was ever created?

I agree that the lack of continuity and connection between the heroes and stories is part of the problem. The MCU broke apart. New earth is a good strategy for fixing it. But, if the writing doesn’t get better…

Fans: Kevin, the Ms Marvel and She Hulk shows were lowest views shows, characters no one wanted Kevin: well I suppose I just have to make a second season for both of them, and make them longer, you know, because that's what you do when something is a flop

Young Avengers can work if the threats they combat are street level. Introduce villains like Hammerhead, Tombstone, Silver mane, and of course Kingpin. Better yet make it a gang war with them battling for control of New York and the young avengers step in. Now if they go the route of having them battle some Avengers level baddie then I think it will fail.

I want Young Avengers. No one even knew that the Marvels were the set up for them either. So bringing that up is irrelevant…. The Disney + shows would be better if they were longer and given more time to create a very good story. You cannot tell full stories in 6 episodes for every single show. Reducing the number of shows doesn’t automatically fix that problem

Love to see a state of the saga video. Breakdown where all the little threads are at that are being weaved together eventually.

I personally enjoyed Ms Marvel, Hawkeye, Shehulk, WandaVison, Moonknight and of course, Loki is A+ tier, but could not get into Secret Invasion or Falcon and the Winter Soldier, but I think the issue is, when you went from Netflixs versions of shows, Punisher, Luke Cage, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, those shows were so good, gritty, dark, writting was up there, IMO, so its hard not to compare the content to one another...The Marvel shows being limited runs, made it harder to get into them, because if they were good, it ends too fast, than its all up in the air if there will ever even be a season 2 of that show, Id love for Marvel to go back to longer seasons, like network tv has always done, if they are 30 minute episodes, have them be 18 to 22 episodes, hour long episodes, 10 to 12, but thats all just me being selfish and hating when a good show ends before you want it to, Im not the one paying for the budget..

A warning from India, China & other International fans to Disney. We just wants a regular X-Men team with Iconic Characters. If marvel were to change anything from the X-Men core, it will be a worldwide disaster than The Marvels. The world won't take anymore shit politics in Entertainment.

My biggest problem is how much content there is. The only show that makes sense is what if.

They need to do longer every thing. Longer TV shows and longer movies. I’m so tired of so many cense being cut that could actually make them better.

Yes, so people who don't have Disney Plus wont know what's going on for the ridiculous BOMB movies they eventually will make. They need to revamp the entire thing - prepare for more failure , especially after the writers strike as the brand is already damaged.

They should just do a back story for new characters on Disney plus after they appear in the movies, everyone doesn’t need a dedicated series

I think longer shows would be better if they do complete stories for each show, my problem with the shows is that they really didn’t say much in each episode and just left it hanging till the next week.

The Disney plus shows are all filler, so they are going to make longer series with more filler

Moonknight needs a high budget movie listed as rated R. The character is not meant for kids that simple

Just boycott ALL these properties and spend ZERO MONEY ON THEM. Then they will give the fans what they want to get them back.

Fiege can go ahead and bury both Ms Marvel and SheHulk. you can't pay someone to say they enjoyed/want more of either of them. You want to do a female led show? cool. Give us a storm origin series that follows Ororo in Egypt with the thieves guild. Stop trying to tell us what characters we have to care about.

Yeah that would be cool. Maybe Marvel hasn’t gotten the characters yet that would make female led movies more watchable and exciting

@@Chris-ey7zy scarlet witch and black widow both could've had their own movies. black widow did but far too late, and after the character was already dead which was absolutely pointless. Scarlett witch they never committed to, just threw her in a dr strange movie lol

Storm has always been a favorite character for me and I think a ton of fans. Having a TV show centered on Storm’s backstory would be so cool. I gotta say though, my 13 year old son totally loves every Marvel tv show and movie, even the ones that are not great. He is super excited about the young avengers and thinks all those young characters are super cool. So, maybe reaching younger viewers is a part of their plan that makes some sense on some level? It’s working for my kid.

They fired everyone that didn't agree with them culturally and politically... They don't know how to get back on track because they don't have the personnel to do so.

I just can't get myself to believe that Deadpool 3, an R-rated movie, will be the biggest setup movie for the MCU going forward. My guess is that it will be another comedy with most of the cameos played as jokes and mostly separated from the rest of the MCU apart from maybe an end credit scene.

If I had to guess, it's because Wonder Man and Vision Quest lead into the Young Avengers and the solo Scarlet Witch project hence why Marvel is continuing with these.

Thor 5 give me Balder the Brave, Beta Ray Bill, and more for Thor Corp going against Hercules, Aries and other gods. I want to finally see Amora the Enchantress too!

5:02 I totally agree with you, right now the young avengers are kamala khan, cassie lang and kate bishop, but the movies that were supposed to set up this movie BOMBED. Marvels was A big BOMB, Quamtumania was mid and Hawkeye series was also mid. So if they are thinking of making these 3 like the big three (Thor, Tony, Steve) Im gonna give up, but is seems like mcu wants to make these characters the center figure. What they should do for young avengers (if casting and stuff is done) is to make it a disney + show for those very little fans who actually wants to watch this shit.

This whole thing about "only he can play Kang" is absurd - All you have to do is look at the Kang variants in the end credits Quantumania scene and we've got funky lizard Time-Keeper statue kang, probably a few others but he is in the foreground so. This debunks the idea Majors by contract is promised to be the only Kang because it ALREADY happened at the beginning!!

Marvels Spider-Man 4 should be a grounded movie. Having a post credit scene with Toby or Andrew’s spider-verse,(or Miles) would be plenty to move the multiverse saga forward.

Why aren't they addressing what's actually scaring all of the fans away?

The purpose of this is to let the audience get to know the characters and truly get invested in them unlike The Eternals which in my opinion should have been a series not a movie.

i could see a cyclops , storm, gambit, mr sinster, omega red, or even the gladiator series. But yeah , i dont know about the young avengers show, or lesser known characters , shoot maybe even beta ray bill could bring back that early marvel status!

The comment you said about the white vision and wonderman show being made in potentially bad production is pretty valid because Marvel already sees that the mini series format is not desirable for the writers and audiences. Now would be the time to stop making mini series’s
