    JUST YOUR DAILY REMINDER I live in OKC and have lived here since 1989. I'm not mad at KD for leaving or joining the Warriors. OKC said his mom wasn't pretty enough to be the face of the Oklahoma City Thunder. When he won the MVP but didn't deliver the Champion, media here in the papers call him "Mr Unreliable". So they attack him for not bringing home a championship cool. Don't say his mom is not pretty enough and expect this man to be cool with that! He owes OKC nothing!!! People act like the Warriors are the first super team and it's never been done before... lol, I guess to start the 2000s off no one remembers the 03-04 Lakers. Oh, I guess because they got beat by the Pistons it don't count. Shaquille O'Neal, Kobe Bryant, Karl Malone, Gary Payton, ect. Wait wait wait, what about the Boston Celtics teams in the 60s?!!! Oh some think the 08 Celtics team started it, or some say LeBron started it lol. You can be mad at the decision, but don't be mad at a guy who's making a decision for himself and what's best for him not best for you the fans.

    Asap Sneakers ひ I remember OKC's first two years here. Every time they play the New Orleans Hornets it was like a home game for the Hornets because they were happy to have a Pro team but they wanted the Hornets to stay and the Hornets themselves wanted to stay if not for David Stern. Chris Paul is still OKC's Rookie of the Year. Speaking of CP3, let speak on how the fans for the first few years for Westbrook wanted to trade him for CP3 lmao

    Because he joined a 73-9 team that eliminated him from going to the finals there was literally other teams KD could’ve went to. If he would’ve joined any other team nobody wouldn’t of called him weak & the fact that he joined the warriors makes him sellout because you made this powerful heartfelt mvp speech couple years prior about the OKC franchise & then you going turn around & join a team that’s keeping you and your team from going to the finals that you were up 3-1 against & it’s not like KD didn’t have any help with OKC he literally had a championship squad with that OKC team so him joining another team that’s already a championship team makes him weak.

    Kevin Hagberg no KD did not. If lebron had went up against the boston big 4 3-1 then lost 4-3 and over the summer joined that team so he could win his first ring, then that would be the same move. KD took a cakewalk to the finals the easiest route possible lebron went to a team who got better because of his and bosh's arrival, KD came to. 73-9 4 points from consecutive finals wins team, and as we saw during the regular season when KD was injured, they dont need him like at all. Stephen A is right the weakest move by a superstar especially because hes regarded as the #2 best player behind Lebron James

    He was young back than and got fucked over by his cheap owner time and time again just like Lebron did when he left to Miami. If this warriors team didn't exist Cavs would be the only super team in the NBA, its not a bitch move its a smart move why stay and be loyal to a city that blamed him for everything, called him Mr Unreliable, got rid of his friends cause the owner was a cheap fuck and didn't wanna help the team at all. Majority of the NBA champions played on a super team, Jordan, bird, Kobe, Magic, Duncan, Shaq, Lebron himself so why is KD called a bitch for doing what any other player would have done? Legends like Barkley, Nash, Payton, Malone and dozens of others tried to ring chase but failed. All you people talk about is "rings" yet judge a dude for trying to get 1 to help his career even tho KD has been a top 3 player his whole career and deserves it.

    Magic/MJ/Bird/Kobe/Duncan all got drafted and stayed on their teams. Golden State would still be beating the Cavs w/o Durant, it was a bitch move and overkill for a so called top 3 player to join a 73 win team. He is barely a top 3 SF, Lebron/Kawhi are better but they don't have the best shooting backcourt of all time backing them up. Gary Payton has a ring btw.

  • @urmenior

    @urmenior

    7 жыл бұрын

    What was called heroic decades ago is now a set of comical, meaningless actions. Malone didn't do it, so did he (and other former players) set up a heroic role model that must be followed in the next five centuries? Yeah, the GSW would still be beating the Cavs, but they had a major lack exposed by the OKC and the Cavs last year, that was a solid rim protector and finisher, like Whiteside. They could have got one elite center, kept the rest of their roster and they'd be good. Instead, they gave up six players, including two starters (one of whom was their starting rim protector). KD didn't know who'd be in their place, it was obvious that there was room for only some cheap players, and still thought he'd make up for everyone sacrificed for him, and make that team better. You call it weak, I call it brave. He expected all the hate, possibly more, and didn't care. And if it is still a 73 win team like many think, he went and immediately became the best player of a 73 win team, that shows how good he is, not just "a barely top 3 SF," you're just a hater, especially if you don't see his defensive improvement this season. The guy is 4 time scoring champion, would be more if he was a selfish player, he's been consistently able to score 27 on 16 shots for years regardless of what shooting backcourt he has had, he could just play in a trash team and easily average 40 ppg if he wanted to be your typical alpha dog, pretentious warrior and the symbol of a city. And this year he basically plays like (a selfless) Kobe in his prime on his hottest night on the defensive end, runs back and plays like Gobert on the defensive end (he is playing more minutes as a center than Zaza, McGee and West). He is able to do it because the team has a system which lets his skills shine. And that's why he went there, to enjoy the game without being in the position of a saviour. So he has already refused to be seen as a hero, he even said rings didn't mean much, I doubt he cares about being called a coward. He has a different perspective in which your words like "weak" become devoid of meaning, he is an individual grown man, not the puppet of a crowd that must compromise a set of preestablished characteristics expected from players. You're also free to hate though.

    Listen, you see all these people cheering her on and whatever. They are all emotionally compromised by the moment. Regardless of this, from a basketball and competitive perspective, it was incredibly weak of Durant too do what he did. Listen, he is arguably a top 3 player in the world. Lost to one of the greatest teams ever assembled last year, and then went and joined them in the offseason. If you think that's not weak, there's something wrong with you. This league is so watered down now. We are robbed of competitiveness. We are robbed of people playing all 82 games. We are robbed of stars giving it their all. Everyone just wants an easy ride now. We can thank Lebron for starting all this crap. And this is only going to continue it.
