After overcoming a 22 points deficit from the 2nd quarter to tie the game and force OT, the Denver Nuggets were outscored 15-5 in OT and lost to the Phoenix Suns, 117-107. Kevin Durant led the Suns with 35 points (14-34 FG), 8 rebounds, and 5 assists as Grayson Allen added 28 points (8-12 3PT). Jamal Murray (28 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists) and Nikola Jokic (25 points, 16 rebounds, 5 assists) led the Nuggets in defeat. Suns snap a 2-game skid to improve to 36-26 as the Nuggets have their 6-game W streak snapped, move to 42-20.
With his 3PT FG made at 1:25 in OT, Kevin Durant passed Dirk Nowitzki (1,982) for 17th all-time in career 3PT FGs made.
There have been 16 instances of 8 or more 3PT FG made in a game by a Suns player throughout their history. Grayson Allen has 5 of them. All this season.
