Erik Wilson Kobe isn't even close to Kevin Durant when it comes to scoring. Kobe lead the league in shot attempts 6 times yet somehow only got 2 scoring titles, and both of those scoring titles were with an ugly usage rate and a mediocre FG%. Durant would average 45 with Kobe usage rate and number of shot attempts.

KD's going to hold down the fort, until Steph comes back! He's making a case for DPOY this year! So we'll see. He's averaging 26, 8 and 5 with over 2 blocks a game He's playing well as expected!! He's the 2nd best SF and, 2nd best player in the NBA behind LBJ but that depends on your opinion? All I know is, KD's playing A LOT better defense, both on the ball and, off of it! Kevin Durant is better than LeBron. Better shooter, better scorer, equal rebounder, better defender, better shot blocker. LeBron has the advantage in assists but his facilitating gets over glorified. LeBron dominates the ball and controls all of the playmaking, whereas the Warriors play team ball where everyone creates assists for each other. Now that KD has control of the offense, he's doing exactly what LeBron does, yet people act like LeBron is so far ahead of him lmao.

Look at it logically. If KD were to never join Golden State, we wouldn't be talking about him. He would instead be a wcf or second round exit each year in the playoffs, and be ranked as the 6th or 7th best player in the league. That was the case in 2015-16 when all we heard about was the Warriors and Lebron. Did Steph overtake Lebron as the best player in the league? That was the question everyone was asking, and KD wasn't even mentioned in the best player in the league conversation. No one included him or talked about him in the same category as those other two. Best player in the world

I been telling all you fools for a couple years now that KD is the best player in the league. He just doesn't care about numbers the way LeBron does. KD can average a triple double in his sleep if he were to dominate the ball the way LeBron does. Think about it, look at their career numbers. KD has averaged comparable numbers to LeBron and he literally has the ball in his hands less than half the time LeBron does. Now just imagine if kd had the ball 99% of the time like LeBron, dude would avg 40 8 11 like it's nothing. BUT kd doesn't have that desire to pad his stats. He is not an alpha male and that's his only negative if you want to consider that a negative. But y'all just have to respect KD as the best player in the world he proved it in the finals and he is further proving it now.

Best player in the world since the 2013-14 season. Lebron’s stat-favouring ISO ball (not at all different from Harden/D'antoni or Westbrook last year) and the dumpster fire that is the eastern conference has obscured this simple statement of fact. Now that he plays in a great system nothing can stop him. Nothing.

LeBron was far better than KD in 2014 that was Lebrons peak year but he still was unstoppable nobody was better than Miami LeBron. LeBron still remains the best player in the league anyone who disagrees is Retarded KD has the most stacked team in history so he doesn't need the ball 24/7

White noise. Kevin was better in the regular season seaon of that year (won the MVP) and Lebron did nothing in the playoffs to prove that he was better (beating 3 awful teams and getting blown out by the Spurs). But you're right, KD never needed the ball to dominate. Lebron however does.
