Funny how the media tries to emphasize how great of a scorer he is rather than how great of a player. Lebron is talked about as such a "great player" by the media giving the perception that he is more well rounded than KD when in reality Kevin Durant has been on a higher skill level than Lebron in almost every category with the exception of passing. Even still, KD is a great playmaker when he chooses to be, he can essentially do everything on the floor when the moment calls for it. He doesn't always go for the highlight but rather goes for efficiency and high level decision making. If you watch and play basketball you know that his skill has been on another level for a while now, imo rivaling that of all time greats such as prime mj, kobe, bron.

I love kd he's my favorite but the next generation will probably look at stats and say well 26-28 is not that many points or one mvp is not a lot and dismiss his actual skill because they didn't watch him play. Im saying this unbiased this is not how i feel about kd at all

KD defense is so underrated

I miss KD I loved watching play defense. I hope he comes back and retires with us someday.

Loved watching KD and the Warriors play but there’s still a part of me that wishes he went to the Spurs. Imagine him and Kawhi playing together. Lock down on defense and unstoppable on offense

Sure these are decent highlights but half the time he doesn’t even try on defense and a lot of these plays are him getting burned off the dribble or letting his man get perfect rebounding position. He’s almost 7 ft of course he’s gonna get some blocked shots. He’s an average defender at best and nothing more.

It doesn't matter that he is tall, he gets blocks and that's it. Everyone says KD average more blocks than Lebron because he is taller, ok, who cares? The point in the game is to stop the attack and when you are in offense to put the ball in. It is the same if I'm saying Lebron has more steals because he is quicker than Durant, it doesn't matter. Soo yeah, Durant is tall, but block is block, his 1,1 blocks per game in his career makes him a good defender.

@@hristijandimitrovski8664 so your solely basing him being good at defense cause he has 1.1 career blocks? Sure if that’s what you think makes a good defender. But I don’t and the dude takes off way too many possessions on defense to be considered a good defender in my book.
