Never imagined that he could sing this way and that too a song which is not his regular language. I was his fan since maula mere but this song just raised the bar to highest level. Simply magnificent !!!!

Right you are sir. Roopkumar sang this song in different mood than the original but sounded so soothing. As if he himself is marathi and expressed his fillings. For that matter the crown actually goes to Suresh Bhat saheb & Balasaheb Mangeshkar for however different styles may be implemented the soul of this songs suravat remains intact, so long as the singer does not go out of the tune. Rupkumar hats off to you for this

All the singers, Padmajaji, Ashaji & Roopkumar Rathore have given different dimmenssions. I have not heard this in Shrikant Pargaonkar's voice. Personally I liked Aashaji's rendition more for her quality of voice and effortless singing.

I was listening to this on radio, thought its Suresh Wadkar singing. But then he sang 'Fa'savun raat geli instead of 'Ph'asavun .. then knew it was a non-marathi singer, searched on YT and here I am :) Roopkumar Rathod : Smooth as Scotch !! Need to recreate more such beautiful marathi songs.
