Great podcast bill, obviously putting the mental issues to oneside hampering the gear on that scale you would end up with mental issues. Hes obviously a person with a addictive personality ( some people just have it) its took a while but hes found a addiction via the gym that will aid is physical and mental health. He might not realise it but laying down all the problems hes had in life for all to see is part of is healing, hes at is most vulnerable telling is story but hes doing it with great deal of confidence.

I would like to point out that addiction doesn't discriminate between rich and poor it grips both sides and only you can choose to either survive in addiction or thrive in recovery, well done to kev and well done billy for showing everyone their own personal battles of addiction

Anyway I could have bought a house cars and holiday homes wit the amount I spent on drugs but I can't dwell on that loss because it would destroy me so if I didn't have the habit I wouldn't have found the cash it sounds crazy but its true we spent allot but if we hadn't had the motivation to score we wouldn't have had the cash

It's a decent way to make your dough though. If you get them then sell them on to tourists at the match . They can afford it , you make a few quid so everyone is happy . So no harm done .

My ol pop said nobody could do a bottle of whisky. I was up in islay for a weekend and a few were putting down 3 bottles. A treble in a jiffy all night long. If you have a will you have a way.

I just spotted a post by someone in here which has been rightfully removed, Questioning some things this lad did in his past. It angered me reading it, People need to understand that people in addiction do things they would never dream of out of addiction, Be it drugs, Drink, Gambling. Whatever it takes to get the money to feed it, Addiction doesn't make you a bad person, The addiction makes you do bad things. To the person who posted those questions, Have more empathy and maybe listen to his story and you might get a better understanding instead of riding your high horse.

No one punishes you more than yourself in hindsight. We all know the things we do, the things we’re capable of in active addiction, it bears no resemblance to who we are when clean. Most people would never understand that sadly. Breaking that cycle is one of the most rewarding parts of recovery.
