Use a fork or dough docker to pierce holes into the surface of the pizza dough to prevent the big bubbles. My kettle pizza is being delivered today for my 22.5 weber and is will be doing my first pizza next weekend. Can't wait to use it. Thanks for sharing your video! Pizza looked awesome :)

Getting ours This Friday, Will see then, but for sure better than having to remove the lid in & out to peak, or work the pie (Constant high heat), Will have to find a quick way to refuel, and practice with it.

Hey guys buy semolina flower on the bottom of the pie. It works better than cornmeal and tastes better. Also do the dough the night before use cold water and put it in the fidge. the cold water slows down the yeast and you get little bubbles and soft dough and not puffy crust. It also makes the crust taste better.

I think an aluminum pizza peel would be easier to use than the wood one because the wood is considerably thicker. Also use cornmeal on the peel before you make the pizza on it. Nice video!

Hi @tspin818. Can you put the grill on top of the pizza-kit? I want to use the pizza kit to lift the grill up a little and place a wok in the middle of the grill to cook something delicious (plov). The kit allows me to both lift the wok a little and also to be able to add coal or firewood under the wok more easily. If that's possible, can you show how it's done? How will the wok be held up? By the four bolt on the inside of the kit? Thank kindly in any case.

Put fork holes in yr base and you won't get the big blown edges.

Hey guys, really nice! If you don't want it to puff up like crazy, just prick the edges with a fork several times :)

Thanks for the advice. After having made a couple of hundred pizzas over the past few years in it we have got a lot better at it. I think I need to put up a new video showing how good the pizzas turn out now.

Does that pizzakettle have it’s own grate? Does it sit on the rivets for the grills original grate?

We figured out the cornmeal trick the next time we did this. I have used this about a dozen times since I posted this video and am much better at it. I will post a new video soon.

Lol guys U just need a dough docker to knock the puffy bubbles out of the crust. I'd buy one with stainless steel or aluminum pins. Otherwise, yummy looking pizza. You use the dough docker after you've rolled out the dough, and just before you start putting on sauce and toppings.

i Was watching the demo from the kettle pizza site - and there was no mention of having a flaming dragon in your kettle while cooking the pizza. Hahaha. In other words, I believe the flames can hurt your stone. When I do this, I am going with bakingstong . net (or com?) Anyway, the sell ones with metal bottoms which are made specifically for grills. NICE.

That was a homely pizza, Burned, huge bubbles (dough should have been docked), and so tiny it hardly seems worth the trouble. Good luck getting anyone enthused for the next time. They will all have an excuse not to want to come over if you are cooking your own pizzas again. Way to expensive to justify considering most folks use it only once or two times at most before saying screw it.

Wow Lynn, I've heard and read about internet trolls, but you are the first one to comment on anything I have ever done. Guess you did not read where this was the first time I used this attachment, over two years ago. I don't know about "most folks", but we use the Pizza Kettle at least 2-3 times a month. I took the constructive criticisms that I received in the comments and learned how to make really good pizzas in the grill. I'm sure you don't need excuses to not go to someone's grill out, because why would anyone invite someone so negative over to their home. Go crawl back in your Mom's basement.
