I made this for dinner last night and my family went crazy!! What an incredibly rich and favorable casserole. A side salad topped off the successful meal. They want it again next week! Thank you for a great recipe.

Ever since watching your channel, "enough jibber jabber" has become a regular part of my speech.

When a Texas cook fries the bacon, we poor it off into a canning jar by the stove. We cook every thing in bacon grease. It is rumored that a Texas house wife who ran from her house during a fire was filmed by a TV crew, as she was clutching a jar. When asked "I see you saved something, what did you risk your life to save?" she took a deep breath and proudly said "I saved my bacon grease!".

This would be perfect for everyone in your household whether or not they were watching their carb/calorie count or not. I would serve it for myself over any steamed vegetable and have pasta or rice for the rest of the family.

Great idea. I was hunting for a cream sub. I have a weird allergy to "milk" but not cheese... I have even been able to get away with small amounts of cream cheese. Whey seems the absolute worst. Causes horrible coughing and a couple of years ago coughing caused a stroke so... I'm careful. I'd thought of subbing some chicken broth if it needs liquid. We'll see. Making it now.

Definitely adding this to my recipe stash 😋

Oh my goodness...this is fabulous....another item to add to our revolving menu at home! I’m the only one doing keto, but almost all the menu items are from HB Kitchen, the family loves them....thank you so much sharing😁😁😁

I made it! OMG! I actually put too much heavy cream in so just removed a ladle of the sauce and added more cheese. It’s addictive!!!! ❤️🤘
