Keswick is my favourite town in England! beautifully clean and has everything you need, and just a few minutes walk to the scenic Derwent Water.

It certainly is a nice place. I loved it in Keswick. I will return and stay in Keswick rather than outside of town next time. I have so much more I want to do for my other channel @landwaterandthewild

Yes, it is not cheap there. Very nice place though
The pedestrian crossing at the start of this video was recently put in for The Convention visitors and it causes havoc at the mini roundabout at peak times. Yet Keswick school students up the road have been campaigning for as long as I can remember and keep getting rejected by council / LDNP. The cash cow Keswick is and locals can't get a crossing for the local school! Lovely video though.

@@JeffsWalks it is quite shocking the lack of facilities and resources for the local people of Keswick not to mention the infrastructure of the town. There are public toilet just off market Square that charge 40p a pop and also toilets down at the theatre by the lake ( good ten min walk from the centre) that also charge. And when you pay mental council tax prices it takes the biscuit! We lost our local leisure pool because of lock down in 2020 and also our youth club building in 2009- yes 2009 and we can't get plans through for a new build but opposite the site we can have a monster premier Inn! Madness! Sorry to waffle on! Keep up the good videos tho , love seeing my home town on here 👍

@@emy923 something I find unusual is that most toilets are paid entry in the UK. Being from Australia, we have parks with free public toilets in various locations. I understand they need to keep people honest but with no access to toilets, people may resort to urinating in public spaces
