Hello Michael, thank you for this interesting information! Since I was a young girl, I have loved dolls especially porcelain dolls because of my mother buying me my first one. I have a beautiful, Schmitt Victorian style doll with pierced ears from the 1980s. I would love to send some photos of her to you if your interested. I would love to hear your thoughts about her production. Do you have an email? I am hoping to one day purchase a French bisque doll to add to my small collection. I miss seeing beautiful dolls being made given in this new age we are living in and not seeing little girls play with dolls. Even the most basic dolls out there are not attractive and are of an animated alien look. It is hard to find a unique doll collector's shop where I live( Georgia) as most have disappeared and closed along with times of change. I appreciate your effort, time, and love for what you do! Thank you so very much!☺ Much love, Joy Carey Winder, Georgia
