I love how Kerry is a modern day feminist but isnt so brash about it. like she knew how to put Wendy in her place when she referd to her caracteur as a "piece". like Kerry said its very objectifying to refer to a woman as a piece. yet Kerry knew how to say it in such an easy way. : )

I think some people look at it as black and white. Her character is sleeping with a Married Man so therefor it is morally wrong. But life isn't black and white life is all sorts of colors. You have a man you basically had an arrange marriage to someone he did not love and stayed Faithful for 20 yrs. One day he meets the Love of his life and both of them try to hold back their feelings but got overcome by them. As the President its not easy to just divorce your wife a lot of comlications

I understand what you're saying and I can see why a lot of women wouldn't want the feminist label but that's because it's been sensationalized in the media. Being a feminist is an awesome thing and I'm sure you know that both women and men can be feminists.

Agree with everything but the "feminist label". Sad that when women stand up and demand respect for ourselves we are labeled feminist. Not wanting to be objectified does not a feminist make. There is so much more to being a "feminist" than people realize that it's often becomes a misnomer.

I get being called a side piece is objectifying but I don't get how sleeping with a married man loveless marriage or not is not objectifying, I know no one is perfet but most wouldn't sympathize had we not liked the show, character. I still love her, her character and the show but I can't help but be honest regardless, even the focus on the show is more about the affair than her and what she does, just my opinion, while I respect others opinions

She talks to much and she always drowns Tony Goldwyn out when they are being interviewed and that's just tacky and disrespectful! She can call it objectifying all she wants but she does play a mistress which is a side piece and not the main squeeze.
