We happened to be there; what a great gig that was! And we only attended because we heard Kerry rehearsing this the day before as we walked about on our 10th wedding anniversary; otherwise we were seeing a musical; but we’re so glad we went to this ABBA tribute concert instead; it was an incredible concert! Who else on here was there?…..

I really don't understand the people that don't like this woman and say she has no vocal control because this and everything else she does is perfect

Wow. I didnt even notice that it was 13th Sept last year. I was at Hyde Park last year, was amazing and this is my fave song from the album. Ive got most of this concert recorded on my phone. /and I watch it again now to see Kerry perform it live and she just blows me away.

Absolutely stunning! I mean, even beyond Kerry's voice, is the overall song--the score and the the lyrics... Nowadays, oftentimes, it seems people are losing their faith more and more--I've already done that; it wasn't fun--but in the setting of Kristina...FOR Kristina... They needed that faith then, in that time of uncertainty. And on Kerry! Beauty, power, intensity, hotness. That blue background really brought those gorgeous eyes of hers! Amazing woman. Truly. Absolute fantastic performance, no question about it she has possibly the most amazing vocals ever! Forget all about the arm waving etc SOME people don't agree with listen to that VOICE you can't deny it's brilliance. She's not in the musical Kristina is she?! unless i missed that one it's just a tribute she can put her own twist on the song and it's amazing! theres no "wail" just a pure beauty natural voice

Hi, thanks for the comment. I recorded it on my Sony H9 digital camera. I was lucky to have a good view of the concert and agree that Kerry looks and sounds stunning.

I agree with Becalou: be grateful for the brilliant song and singing! Those who were at Hyde Park will be fully aware how Kerry's magnificent voice stood out on a cool dark evening. It would be great if she can take some part in the expected concert at the Albert Hall. PS. If we must talk about arm-waving, can I mention that the excellent Helen Sjoholm also waved her arms at the Carnegie Hall concert?!

Thx for posting. For me this was one of the Highlights of this great night. Considering that she was singing a song that most of the audience had probably never heard before, at least not in English, i thought she gave an amazing performance. I was standing to the left at the fornt of the stage and she got one of the biggest applause of the night.

Best english version yet. Still the swedish version with Helen Sjöholm will always be the very best. But this one by Kerry was REALLY GOOD!

@crazysquirrel7: Well if I may be a little impertinent I would say that if one is interested enough as to go and watch this musical in english, they shorely are interested of the story behind it then they probaly are enough interested to know that the town form where she (the fictional caracter) is called Duvemåla in the land scape of Småland, using Wiki! One can use google translater and set "From Swedish To Swedish" to here the pronunciation and copy/paste duvemåla or småland......

Love the combo of "du måste finnas" and Kerry ellis, she does a great job. although i still prefer the swedish version ...

@MrrrMagoo It's probably been reduced to that because (as a generalization) no one in America has a clue how to pronouce the Swedish letter "a" (with the mark above it-I can't do it on my computer)

I respect your comment, but there are things you need to take into consideration. For example, this is a concert, not an actual production. I doubt she's received any direction regarding emotion and acting. She's just there to sing the song as well as possible. The lighting is limited, there is no set. All of these things affect the emotive performance.

Don ´t like that the title of the musical is reduced to Kristina ( in eng. version) ...it should be Kristina from Duvemåla and Duvemåla with the swedish letter å ..and not translated to Duvemale....måla can´t be translated to male ít´s soooooo incorrect :-( ..with that stressed.....I THINK KARRY DOES A GREAT JOBB ON THIS ONE :-)..AND SHE I VERY BEAUTIFUL !!

@MrrrMagoo It isand should! And I do know how to pronounce it and I agree it should be pronounced as such (my ancestors were from there) but it is hard for non-Scandinavians to pronounce the name. Some of my cousins can't even pronounce "Småland" properly, and they're Swedish too! It's like my own name. Everyone calls me by the American pronunciation but that's not right. It bothers me a lot, but it's understandable.

Kerry's great, but wow, no comparison to Helen Sjöholm performance of this song.

Helen Sjoholm pours more emotion into this song than Kerry; Kerry's vocals are in a different league to Helen's. Apples and oranges.

Shes good but Helen does this song soo much better! Helen got more feeling when she sings this song.. Kerry has power in her voice, but not really the feeling that Helen's got.
