@@ffbeexaid4509 Yes! The dates including July 13, 14 and 15. I also just learned that it may be available online worldwide. However, we don't know if it will pay off or not. After these 3 concert dates in Japan, Mashiro and Yeseo officially leave and the rest of the members renew the contract for an indefinite period.

Well I'm sad for OT9...but, we all knew Yeseo and Shiro had a job after Kep1er. That couldn't be said for the other 7. So I am ecstatic about Kep1er continuing on with 7 and cannot wait for Yeseo and Shiro to debut again (5th gen) with Limelight 🎉😍🥰 Song writer Shiro going to be busyand Yeseo can continue her acting career....all I see is WIN WIN for everyone!!!

I'm so happy with Shooting Star! This is the type of sound I've been wanting more of from Kep1er. I have really enjoyed Kep1er's music but for me personally songs like Back In The City and Together Forever were easily my favorite, and it was always kind of a disappointment for me that we didnt get more of that from them. So to finally get a song like this that is a title track, especially one to end this 9 member era, it's perfect!

Both ARTMS and Kep1er have put out really emotionally charged songs with this essence of nostalgia which I am obsessed with. I don't know if that's everyone's opinion as I may be biased becayse they're two groups I love dearly. So happy Kep1er got an amazing song for their last comback as 9 and maybe W1 actually listened to the love back to the city got and implemented that into a TT.

This song and Virtual Angels are very similar to me and I'm loving it.

The thing that ruffles my feathers the most is seeing all the people on Twitter dragging 143 Entertainment and Limelight. I mean, sure, if you want to drag a company, fine, whatever, but seeing people say bad things about Limelight really bothers me. Those girls have nothing to with this and they've been a fantastic trio up until now with some of my favourite songs in K-pop. It's been almost 2 years and I'm still not over Eye to Eye.

I love that you pointed out the trade-off from Xiaoting to Chaehyun because in their debut video, there was the trade-off from Chaehyun to Xiaoting so that's a cool detail!

i saw it somewhere else, possibly on reddit under the announcement of yeshiro leaving and our other 7 staying. think of this as a graduation for the girls, now they can carry each other with them and everything they learned along the way and now go and start a new journey. we won't see them as a 9 member group but to each other they are always kep1er. 💜

I didn’t cry the first four times watching this but this time? I teared up a little. I was waiting for your reaction ever since I first heard the vocal mod. I had remembered that you love it (as do I) so I knew you would be shocked and thrilled all together. This is so bittersweet as a song and comeback and has officially dethroned Up as my favorite. I’ll miss Mashiro and Yeseo in the Kep1er sphere but I’ll keep an eye out for them elsewhere.

The fact that all the reaction that is coming out about this song, people are getting emotional reading the lyrics and seeing the girls shows that they did the right job. And that even though they continued to promote as a group of seven, the departure of two members hurt all the fans and even those who don't follow them

It sucks that Yeseo and Mashiro are leaving Kep1er but look at the brightside: Kep1er is still going to continue and Yeseo and Mashiro will immediately join LIMELIGHT. No one is jobless. There were some questions in the air what would happen to some of the members if Kep1er was disbanded for good (I'm thinking of Yujin specifically), so this is the best case scenario given the circumstances. ALSO, let's hope that Mashiro and Yeseo's star power will give LIMELIGHT a boost. Oh yeah.... SHOOTING STAR is the best Kep1er song by far. I'm not saying this because of emotions, this is LEGIT the best song they've done.

I think other than Yujin, most of the members are okay even without contract renewal.

loved your reaction and your thoughts about the situation going on! Kep1er as a group has always been misunderstood and hated to an extreme point when we've got nothing but 9 talented precious girls that worked so damn hard to get to where they are. I love that the song has many references to their career as 9 members and Yeseo singing "with you, I'm not afraid of this ending" and the lyrics hinting at a farewell and new start was absolutely devastating. I'm also very proud that Dayeon could make a lyric contribution to this meaningful and beautiful song and I'm sure this is one of the top songs they've ever released for all Kep1ians and the girls themselves. As you said, it's extremely bittersweet knowing that the extension will be carried out as 7 members and not 9 but as they have said themselves, they will always be nine in our hearts. However, I'm sure their bond won't break and it's a relief knowing that at least Yeseo and Mashiro will be together for future endeavours and that we will still be able to see the nine of them grow as artists in this industry. Kep1ians know how these girls have been through hell and back but that made the 9 of them hold themselves closer and became their own safe place; right now it hurts but knowing the 9 will be together no matter if yeshiro are in the group or not is something that settles a bit of ease into my heart. I just hope idol life treats them a bit better and they get the recognition for their hard work and talent that they've always deserved. Also knowing how Xiaoting's company's statement hinted that the contract renewal included talks and better conditions about the problems they've experienced because of mismanagement makes me want to believe that the company will be fairer to them and that they will grow. Anyways I'm curious of how this will develop but I can say that Kep1going and Kep1going On were such beautiful albums to the end of a chapter in Kep1er's career and I will always be thankful for them.

When I watched their first perf of the song on K-Wave, I instantly thought the song felt like a cross of Back to The City and Le Voya9e. They really dropped their best Korean TT (for me anyway) on their last comeback as 9 huh. 🥹

Seriously western Kep1ian are always complaining, WakeOne this, WakeOne that. Truth of the matter is, that company gave Kep1er nothing but good to great music, good choreographies and fine M/Vs. They even found a way to renew the majority of the members contract to keep going. In the context that's going above and beyond. Kep1er is a survival show temporary group which means most of the money available has already been invested and whatever profit generated has to be split with other parties. The greediness amongst western K-Pop stans knows no bound.

I agree like I don’t understand how some people don’t realize that yes it is their choice but they are still going to be sad about leaving because they have been with Kep1er for so long and yes maybe they wanted to stay as well but at the end of the day these so called “fans” need to realize and stop assuming they were forced they were not forced

Tenho certeza que eles estavam se preparando como se isso fosse acontecer. seu último retorno. Ainda cabe, já que infelizmente estamos perdendo YeShiro :( Mas estou feliz que eles tenham escolhido essa música como sua última música com Kep1er. This was by far their best TT and best song. I'm obsessed with that pre-chorus. It's just too bad that it had to come at the end. I'm kind of worried about what Kepler is going to get from WakeOne going forward, becuase they've ALWAYS been in W1's recycling bin. The girls never looked better and the styling was lovely, but they got like 5 dollars for the video. I feel like the girls knew they were either going to no company, or a company that had no plans for them, so at least staying together and continuing their dreams as idols is better than what they were going back to.
