I normally hear this sentiment from guys who've lived in the diaspora. Glad to have brought a piece of home to you.
Thankyou for your recipes! I went to kenya in 2006 and I miss it so much. I am looking forward to making my mother mandazi and chai, show her what the big deal is :-) Even though I'm not kenyan, I know once I smell this chai I will feel at home once again. Thankyou once again, and I pray many blessings for the wonderful people in your country!

Haha, hata mimi cloves are not my thing. I avoid them as much as I can. It's one of those spices that my taste buds have refused to like. In fact, the most I ever add I think is only 3 in a whole sufuria of pilau that has like 4 kg of rice...😂
Im heading home from coast...full of ideas thanks to you...keep it up.

Wanted to ask the same
where did you buy your set of sufuria? or what brand or company are they?
@jikonimagic
8 жыл бұрын
+Sintai Wangechi I have no clue to be honest. It's a very old sufuria that I've scrubbed mpaka hakuna hata logo for the company. As for where I bought it... my guess would be Tuskys because that's where I buy most of my sufurias from.
kindly include subtitles in your videos pliz
I have a problem with nutmeg what are they pls the other ones am familiar with

Nutmeg is a spice that is sold either whole or as powder form. Just ask at the spice section of the supermarket.
where do you buy the cinammon

Hi, the supermarkets.
Can you use the spices in powder form?
@jikonimagic

Yes you can, it's just that I prefer whole spices because of their potency.

what is the name of the tea?
@jikonimagic
7 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure if I have understood your question. But just in case you are asking about the brand, I normally buy Ketepa tea, if you are in Kenya you will most definitely know about it. If not, it's available online on Amazon along with other popular Kenyan tea brands.
Can I do this without milk? I normally drink strong, black tea and can't stand milk flavour in my tea.
