It is right for us as Africans, if we can afford, to help our African brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers in Haiti at this time of their need. Despite the protests on the Streets of Kenya these days, yet Kenyan sons and daughters are prepared to fly thousand of miles far away from their love ones to offer their lives servants to help others! Imagine, one day, somewhere, if a Haitian person met an African man or a woman and asks that person, what part of Africa do you come from, and you replied to him/her that you are from Kenya, what will be their impression towards you? I wish the Kenyan police mission in Haiti goes well!.The only foul with this assignment is, the request came from the GREAT DEVIL who is responsible for middling in the affairs of Haiti all these years. The police you see in Haiti are paramilitary forces,of the GSU(Gifted strategic unit) and the RDU(Rapid Defense unit) this two units have police and military training,they are the second tier police force,that cool clashes and upraisals in Kenya,the ones running against rioters in Kenya,are from NPS(national police service) the first tier unit.....this ones in Haiti only avail themselves for special occasions,their training is excessive and aggressive,they can operate strategically in all conditions,they are skillful in hand combat,and guerrilla warfare...

This is great, until once the local gang members realize that they cannot outgun these trained soldiers, and they then start offering them percentage bribes. I hope these soldiers have a strong principled moral compass.
