▶ Kenya Blue Stars Sina Kisomo, Ayoo
Музыка
This is my favourite along with 'Niwaone Wanangu'.Members of the band:Charles Muthemba, Cuthbert Bocha, Daniel Hamisi, Margaret Safari, Paul Wachira, Lawiss Samona,Sheila Tett and others. The group was known for some of their hit songs such as “Sina Kisomo”, “Niwaone Wanangu” and others. They had a style called 'Teremka' This particular song was a hit single in 1980 composed by Cuthbert Bocha also the lead guitarist. According to Margaret Safari, the song addresses the artistic switch to music due to a lack of education or the fact that musicians were seen as not educated.

Them days when music was music.
Very nice and refreshing. Reminds me of Kenya Broadcasting Corporation and its presenters like Hadija Ali, Billy Omalla, Anunda Sakwa, Elizabeth Obegi and others.
This was I think the first song that all of us as kids knew the lyrics, and we sing it religiously . sat here today more than 3 decades later and thousands of miles from home, then it came to mind, thanks for posting it🎶
Margaret Wambui Safari & Sheila Tett. Great song. Where art thou nowadays??
Wow! Nostalgia of my childhood growing up in the early 1980s, precisely 1980 if not 1982. Late MDJ Eddy Fondo and also Bwana Fred Obachi Machoka on VoK back then

For us who were left for the same or other reason kujeni hapa kwa hii tent. Si the pain is gone and looks like a badge of honor ama namna gani. The pain moulds you to become the *man* you are proud of now.
It can never get better than this I swear. Omuga Kabisae and Auntie Jamila Kasalo
