Yessir you take Jessica out for a nice dinner. I know how it is getting your wife or Mother involved in any mechanical work on a truck. They both held a flashlight an pumped brakes and twisted wrenches. I've had to have my wife take my pickup truck and pull me off a little hump in the driveway even with power divider in all it needed was a tug to get traction. I always made the turn around backing across the driveway into the yard then pull up an bare right to go on down the driveway but that hump in the the middle of the driveway the truck would teeter totter on that hump an go nowhere so I hook a chain to pickup an wifey pulls me. It's hard working on a truck by yourself but your sweety did a good job, GOOD JOB JESSICA

Been there, done that, except it was in a shop. We also had to use a forklift, not near as good as a hoist, but do with what ya got. Keep up the good work, and try to stay dry. Jessica is a big help!

You are installing that clutch the hard way. The absolute best and easiest way is to stack the clutch on the input shaft of the transmission and then simply slide the transmission into place and once the transmission is bolted to the bell housing all you have to do is bolt the pressure plate to the flywheel through the access hole.

When it's raining outside then worked in the shop. Cleaned out the race or high performance stuff, then u can put other stuff in it.

I was given the opportunity to buy the 1987 K100E that i drove for several years.I wish i had taken them up on it. I still drive around hoping to catch a glipse of it but it probably ended up in wrecking yard somewhere being parted out. I still get excited when i see a large bunk, flat top in a green and white paint scheme.

James that clutch is heavy work. Just asking is there not some kind of a stand you can use to make things easier when installing that clutch assembly. Thought what do you do if you don’t have the strength to manhandle?

There is. I could also hang it all on the input shaft and bot it up after the trans is on the engine. I some times like to know I can still do it
