My first head unit was a Kenwood, I wired it into a kenwood speaker I the boot of the Peugeot 106. I love Kenwood. I still have the Kenwood stereo in the living room.

I bought a DMX908s very nice unit and sounds great. My only complaint is the screen, it is not bright enough to see it in the daylight. Never had that problem with a different brand I had before. Sorry, but that dim screen is a possible game changer for me as for purchasing another one in the future.

Love the current kenwood range ! That would look and sound amazing in my project car

The DMX8021 is great. The only think which is missing to be perfect is a 720 HD resolution. Is there a chance that they develop something like this for the next year?

Ive got a DMX7017DABS in my 90's weekend car. Love the retro style graphic equaliser type display on the Home Screen with the dancing frequency "power bars" which react to the music : do any of these new units retain this feature ? I am looking for a top end upgrade but really want to keep this cool display of the older system as it just works so well with the 90's theme of the car.

Looking forward to the 50th anniversary line up had the excelon 25th anniversary is was an amazing headunit

Can we please get rid of the Bezels?

The UI on double dins are starting to look very dated. Most modern cars come with large, high resolution screens in their interior which look way more modern and upto date. Aftermarket double din UI's still look like something from the early 90's and need a serious overhaul.

But they still don't have an HD flip out single din 😒

Comon lads we all know Alpine is top of the line for audio still

Bezels, resolution and UI outdated for 2023 on these head units compared to cheaper Chinese head units.

No everyone wants android auto not carplay 😉

Now I finally understand how chinese android HU brads can get away with such a crappy product - brand names are at best same shit.
