Always the hottest team on the floor. Have followed this programs success since 1990 and nearly 20 years later still as captivated as I was then as a freshman cheerleader. This program is the epitamy of ATHLETICSM, HARD WORK, DRIVE, DEDICATION, DETERMINATION, PRIDE & LEADERHIP! I will continue following this CHAMPIONSHIP programs journey on to further greatness. 1) The jogging (not prancing) between stunts looks better visually than simply running with your arms at your side like most teams do. 2) It also keeps your energy up, body moving, etc in prep. for the next part of the routine. It seems to be working fine for them ;)

that was great but since uk was playing against louisville that would of been cool to see louisville cheer team throw something together also with out a doubt they are the best teams in uca and nca.

auww, i wish to cheer with the guys. main purpose is for the tosses to go higher. in malaysia guys are not interested in cheering. they just love to see. not much of em are really interested :( nice routine. x

Yes, I knew they are level 5, but I tried to say with the "new cheer" that now all star are the trend.. well in u tube.. i dont know if this happen in all USA...... well i mean now the most of the competitions videos is about the all star so.. where are the videos about college championshion 2008? ..so you can wacht a few videos about college this year.. i remember in 2006 or 2007 in this month in you tube there were a thousand of videos of college competitions.now is different,it´s my opinion

They've got great stunts, but they could add a little more choreography between moves, instead of some of the women just standing there whenever their teammates are doing stunts until it's their turn to participate. I still love Kentucky's squad. They are the best.

Dropping a stunt is entirely different than a wobble (especially when the drop occured with 2-3 bases and the wobble occured with only 1). I don't get your point about no element of suprise either. This year they did for the first time team fulls, the new transition to sweedish falls, round-off rewinds, and those awesome baskets. Using flashy transitions to mask easy stunts and grinding to music doesn't get you a title at UCA. Dificulty and hitting does.

it's different for uca...for dancing check out nca teams like louisville, sfa, trinity valley...etc etc

I gotta disagree. Transitions are definitely insane but they also have minimal tumbling (only a couple of fulls versus 16 for UK) and no true partner stunts (they needed 3 bases just to do a regular rewind while UK only needs one to a round-off one-handed rewind). UK also has higher and more difficult baskets.

i their stunts. like seriously. i wish i could single base, but i have no upper body strength.

I, too, have to disadree. UK wins on dificulty, TUMBLING, execution, timing, etc, etc. I watched that Bangkok routine. Not BAD. But definitely NOT Kentucky. They had 3 guys doing rewinds and DROPPED their pyramid.

What happened with the REAL Cheerleading like kentucky, Ucf,, i couldn't wacth videos of them this year , just a few... so now there are a lot of videos about the "New Cheerleading" like Top Gun, Cheer Athletics.. yea that teams are great in showmanship, tumblings, but they dont have rewind one arm, 2 & 1 piramids... well i mean WHERE IS THE REAL CHEER----- where iS KENTUCKY???
