I know it’s hard I am from fife where you went to university. Your private life and health issues are yours alone. If other people have issues respecting that I ignore them. Nobody should be forced by police or anybody else to issue statements on somebody’s health regardless of who you are. I wish you all the best and a speedy recovery❤

I've been absolutely disgusted by comments by certain people, speculating about Catherine's health. Some of the things I've seen, especially from a certain group on social media, have been totally abhorrent. Abdominal surgery can be a long and difficult recovery. It's a sad fact that this statement had to be put out. Wishing the Princess of Wales a speedy recovery.

I agree she deserves her privacy. In saying that, the Princess of Wales is a much loved member of the Royal Family, it is only natural that people are worried about her, with the Palace keeping it to themselves only breeds speculation as to the severity of her health, especially with the recovery time. I'm sure everyone wishes her a speedy recovery.

It took 5 months for the surgical scarring from my “major abdominal surgery” several years ago to be considered healed. Still ended up with herniated muscles because of a cough from a cold. I cannot imagine the germs HRH Catherine, Princess of Wales would be exposed to on a simple walkabout. A bout of Covid or pneumonia would have killed me because of the inability to cough hard enough to clear my lungs. Stop the rumors and give her adequate time and space to heal before demanding face to face contact with hundreds of strangers.

Exactly people don’t realise once you’ve had surgery down there, even completing basic functions hurt. Things you wouldn’t even think would affect your stomach area. Picking a cup up, reaching for something, standing up, sitting down, getting dressed, putting your shoes on, walking in general, walking up stairs, walking downstairs etc.

@@deeboo9978 I had abdominal surgery last year - not in the lady's area - and you are quite correct, it has a huge impact. I couldn't bend down to out socks or boots on, I wasn't allowed to even lift a kettle full of water, and I felt exhausted. Every moment of every day was a struggle to stay awake.

Cant wait untill she back out and about. But for now, CATHERINE REST. Having surgery my self years ago, its awful. You lose weight because you cant eat for awhile. Your sore. ITS HARD JUST HAVING TO LAY AROUND. But, by the time we do see her, she will be WELL AND RESTED. And ready to get back out there to work. And I love that children got to spend alot of time with there MOTHER!

Back in January, when we were told that Catherine underwent "abdominal surgery" and that she would be out of commission UNTIL after EASTER, 2024, one would naturally assume that we would not hear from or about Catherine UNTIL after EASTER 2024. Since it is, in fact, NOT YET EASTER, why would anyone think they are entitled to hear from or about Catherine? It boggles the mind. I do so hope that the princess gets to enjoy this lovely long time being with her children and husband - they all deserve it. Leave them alone.

I completely respect the decision for her to take plenty of time for deep healing. We have insane expectations for how quickly people are supposed to recover from surgery and major illness that disregard nature’s timeline for restoration of health and strength. She is an excellent role model!
