I was an addict for a decade and after almost 4 years clean time, I'm starting a podcast and trying to help others overcome this addiction. I want to say that it's going to get worse before it get's better. I'm hoping everyone involved can find the patience and strength needed to win this battle. It's a battle for sure, and most people are dying. To survive opiate addiction requires lots of love and support. Let's try go give love to all those that are needing it.

Yes but,there is lack of self respect and ambition to become an adult. Every one has had trauma in their lives. I can tell you I made a choice. Every day we face challenges and choices. These people are refusing to stand up and choose to be adults.

Whoever ends up as our new President needs to withhold government funding to every state. The Governors of each state needs to get with all the Mayors and Commissioners of each county. We need mental hospitals to house those that desperately need mental health and get them off the street. The ones with drug and alcohol problems need rehab. We MUST clean up our streets. It is shameful that our state government has allowed these streets to get so bad. Unless we get control of our boarders and get some education and jobs for the others, America towns and cities will only get worse.

Most of these people are on Dope ! How do they get it ? How do they pay for it ? Who brings it to them ? So So Many !

It's amazing how people 'gasp with shock' seeing this; These people have always been a part of our society; but with the power of social media, they are no longer 'invisible.' The US is not alone in having this issue, though the issue does seem to be growing. So many reasons ranging from economic issues to the break down of family relationships, lack of mental health services, depression, addiction, etc.. But stop acting like you are surprised! Just drive through any city and you'll find these areas.

Honestly I absolutely hate and despise junky drug addicts when I first started my career when i first entered the workforce, i was a victim of workplace bullying and harassment by a supervisor who was a functioning meth addict. I indeliberately put a Target on my back when I declined his offer to try meth I was called a loser, a dork and a little faggot for not wanting to put that poison s*** into my body . This individual absolutely prayed on my kindness ,experience and naivety .that right there is who taught me to hate junkies and not to have sympathy for them 😊
