I like how most of these songs are all just basic pop punk with some unique twists. Ultimately it is pop punk, the chord progressions, choice of melody, song structure. But the instrumentation is only just a catchy juxtaposition. The real treat here is the poetic, realistic, and dark lyrics that contrast so well with the pop punk sound. It's why the "sadboi" pop punk era kicked off in the early 2010's. It works great and I love to hear more and more of these songs.

In several ways it hurts a lot harder than a romantic relationship. For romantics you might think "Beh, fuck her/him, they cheated and broke my heart" and think of'm as nothing but a fuckin' thot. But for a close friend, one you used to go on adventures with, grow together and share experiences with, experiment with, silently vow to love unconditionally til death comes around (and in the existence thereafter), it's a massive blow. One that makes you wanna cap yourself straight to the dome. You sit on the curb, swearing that as soon as you get ahold of a gun you're gonna put it to your temple and squeeze.

God bless you, man. I had a 9-year friendship come to a burning end over some junkyard tires back in June 2022. Me & the guy were close, but he just couldn't get over his jealousy for me, no matter how supportive I was of him. I guess it was bound to crash & burn at some point. Keep your head up, man. You'll find some better, more supportive friends in the future. I sure did, I'm happier than I've ever been.

I was trying to keep my relationship just a bit longer even though it was toxic, and then Kennyoung just released the most astonishing, fantastic, incredible banger i ever heard saying "i'm ready to say goodbye", my relation didn't last long after that, feeling so much better right now, in debt with this song. (Leaving another like as i'm in another account right now)
