@@LittleSlim78 He is one of my favorites along with other Classic Country, early Rock And Roll, Rockabilly, Jazz, Blues, Bluegrass and Folk artists. My ultimate favorite is Johnny Cash and Kenny Rogers was on his show in the late 60s or early 70s. There's a video of Johnny and him singing together.

It's crazy I'm a die hard Hip Hop fan, but my whole child hood was all about Kenny Rogers songs. when ever things wasn't right in school or my relationships was in a crisis. He always made me feel like everything was going to be alright. I'm a African American with a heavy heart for Kenny's songs. Wish I could of thanked in this life. Rip a true Legend

I remember... as we also had a station wagon... gold LTD with wood grain side paneling, and doors as heavy as the entire cars of today.

I don't care what anyone says. i know each generation has its own likes and standards, but NO WAY can today's music equal this quality and the songs of this time. No way ...a true classic All the best Kenny in your future endeavours and thanks for adding to the soundtrack of my life..

My dad had this on 8-track. He used to play it in his 1974 Mustang. He would pick me up from baseball practice with Kenny Rogers’ voice coming out of the speakers, and stop to buy me some crackers and a Mello-Yello. A guy fell asleep at the wheel, crossed the center-line, and destroyed dad’s Mustang in 1981, dad died with cancer in 2004, and we lost Kenny Rogers in 2020, but the memories live on.

We will never hear music like this again.

I'm very embarrassed to admit this but I just found out that Kenny passed away in 2020. As a Healthcare worker and 1st responder, March of 2020 was very hectic for me, working at least 16 hour days, 7 days a week so I guess I just missed the news. I'm heartbroken 💔

I was born in 1973, I remember this record played by my grandmother, I think of her and how much time has passed between then. Time passes quicker than you think. You want to be older and then you reorganize life is passing you by.

I hosted a live music event last night and this family from Romania came out just to enjoy the evening and they ended up on stage singing this song, it was so amazing!

I always loved Kenney Rogers. Went to his concert. He said that he dosent shake hands with anyone .if he shakes hands with one he would have to shake everyone's hand. A women was walking up to the stage with roses and he turned and walked away. I never forgot that.

Good ol' Kenny. I was raised when he just started out, Liked his early songs when it was Kenny Roger's and the first edition. Unique timeless voice . This tune was also a favorite. Only Kenny could do Kenny songs, that made him a special talent.

My Boo Kenny is gone but as long as his music lives, so will I.
