@@zeenithhmy guy 1. You can see where I said “Kenny’s music” - I wasn’t necessarily talking about this song in particular 2. Not sure if you’ve come across it, but Kenny has already spoke in interviews about how Deftones (specifically) influenced his sound. We could use music theory to further explain how sonically similar this track is to *some* of Deftones’ earlier projects, but that’d just be overkill.

@@_KITE It still sounds nothing like deftones, he might have the influence fs but influence doesn't automatically mean that it will sound similar in anyway, maybe he just took a part of their formula and added his take on it. Either way it still sounds nothing like deftones to me

He’s not screaming like Chino would be on a track like “Far Away”, so that’s why it may not be as obvious but in comparison to most other rappers.. he seems closer to them than not Anyway, I’m not going to belabor the point anymore than I already have. You listen to Kenny and Deftones which is commendable in its own right
