You mean don't support bad breeders. Without good breeders, we wouldn't have our different breeds. Good breeders help to breed out health issues and take puppies/dogs back if owner needs to surrender. Dog end up in rescue because of bad dog owners, simple as that. Rescue dogs are wonderful , you don't always need a puppy AND, not every rescue dog has issues.

Such a beautiful tribute. Our fur babies are such wonderful & precious part of our lives. I wouldn’t have gotten through so many dark times without my babies. Such a genuine & pure unconditional love we receive from them. Who else is always so excited to see you, never judges, never hurts you, is always faithful and would do anything for you. Thank you Kenny. I also lost my sister I’m 10 years older than her. I can’t even imagine how this happened under my caregiver her. I waited on her. Besides the dog she was grieving over. Being blind. The toe she had operated on. And falling off my back porch. I don’t know which one to blame all this on. All I know is I’ve ask God to get me threw this. I feel so alone. Lost, troubled. I cry. Then I just think. How could all this be happening to me. I praise God everyday he gives me. I can’t explain. The loss of a fur baby is something that you never really get over if you truly loved them. I've lost many over the years and miss every single one. The love you felt for her comes through in your song honoring her. I don't know how you were able to sing it without breaking down in tears as I am listening to it.

Our rescue Great Dane Ruba was recently diagnosed with advanced heart failure (DCM) and we do not know how much time we have left with her. The sadness of the thought of losing her has been extremely tough on my wife and I. I’ve had dogs my whole life and it’s never easy losing one but the joy they bring far outshines the pain. Sorry for your loss Kenny I’m sure she in heaven with the rest of the good ones.

I recently lost Patchs, (the love of my life for more than 14 years). As I listened to this song it reminded me of her and for a few minutes she was back here with me. Thank you for sharing Ruby with us, and God Bless!

Mine was Roxana Mae. We didn't know she was sick until her last week of life. I didn't want her because she was older, but she became my best love. I lost her in 2016 and I feel her absence every day. She'd been bounced from 5 different homes. At least her final years were filled with love.

This song reminds me of my cat Princess. She was a stray someone left when they moved house. Every time I would leave my home this little cat would come and greet me. When I found out that she was abandoned I adopted her, now she will not go out and stays by my side. Her affection and love have helped with my PTSD and depression. Although she is about 8 years old. I am not looking forward to the day I have to say goodbye to her myself.

Awe that's so sweet to do a tribute song to Da Ruba Girl. I rescued my dog off the street. It took a month to catch him! He was taken to the Veterinarian. He had been sleeping on a pile of rocks. His eyes were infected. He was about 6 months old. He is now 2.5 and one of the sweetest dogs I have ever known.

Lost my bird Sunshine that I had for about 13 years in March, he's my son. Would always sing You Are My Sunshine he would always stay calm and tweet. He had 2 messed up legs but that didn't stop him from living. The last Kenny Chesney song I played was Someone To Fix. Said my goodbyes and what I know I needed to say so the chapter I had with him is complete hope it's the same way with his sisters 14 year old Fancy who's a cat, 2 year old Flutter his last cagemate(he had a lot and it's been hectic), and at least 1 1/4 years Charlie, Delta, and Echo that I got from my dad this August.

@@selenaali1999 It doesn't sound crazy at all. I have an almost 15 year old Toy Poodle that I rescued 14.5 years ago, and he took is my son. My first dog ever and has made my life so much better. 🐾❤️ I have not, however, I have had 5 Cockatiels in the past... 2 passed (my first one was 17), and the other 3 had to be re-home due to my lungs and the bird dust. 😥😥😥 I have also had 25 pet rats over about 3 years time that I had rescued, and they have very short life spans... I lost all of them but 2 over that time period, and my last 2 I had to re-home as well due to a gradual allergy to rats. That was a lot of broken hearts, and they sure do hurt. Wishing you the best, and knowing you will see your son again someday. 🦜

So sorry for your loss. I have loved this song since hearing it on NSR and kept wondering when you would put it on an album. The reason for you releasing it now is so bitter sweet but she will live on in song and in the good her memory will do. This is a fantastic tribute to her.

Song really reminds me of my rescue pit bull Willy who passed away at the beginning of 2017, he caused me a lot of stress and he took a lot of work, but I still miss him and his quirks.

Just beautiful tribute to Ruby!!! Thank you for rescuing her. She had an amazing life with so much love!!! My Deepest Condolences. RIP Sweet Angel
