Kennedy | 28 Moments of Black Canadian History | Anderson Abbott
Kennedy Ayoo is a third-year medical student at the University of Toronto. Raised in a family of educators, the transforming power of education became apparent to him at a young age and he developed a passion for tutoring and mentorship in high school that continued throughout his undergraduate studies at Queen’s and now as a medical student in Toronto.
Kennedy hopes to become a clinician educator and pass along to future trainees the value of advocating for changes that empower groups that are disadvantaged socially, politically and economically.

Congratulations. February 12th, we are doing a talk at the Toronto Reference Libraray on the Abbott Family and shall share this link
Anderson Ruffin Abbott is my 4 times great grandfather, my brother is named after him and we are all very proud of being related to him. He was a great man who made very important breakthroughs in medicine and the views of people on African Canadian/American people.
I've always known about Dr Abbott even When I was in JR high and I'm 38
