Kenmore Working Fire at 2754 Elmwood

At 00:21 hours Kenmore Fire was dispatched to 2754 Elmwood (Gino's Imported Foods). Kenmore 9-2 arrived on location and reported smoke in the area, then reported the building was charged with smoke and requested a FAST team from Kenilworth. Crews stretched a line and forced entry to the rear. During the incident Ellwood was requested to the scene and the City of Tonawanda was requested to fill Kenmore’s hall. The fire was knocked down in a half an hour. The cause is under investigation by the Erie County Sheriff’s office.

A faster way to take off that side door with the outside hinges is to hit each hinge on the top with a sledge or flat head axe, then use the forks on the Halligan to pry the hinges out. The screws in the hinge will shear pretty easy when you hit them.
