When everyone was relatively healthy, he played Burks, Sims, Precious, Boggy, Deuce, and Hart off the bench. And that's before Randle got hurt when we were on a nice run dude. Mitch was already out. With Mitch, you would've had 12 able bodies, but you can't play everyone in the playoffs. Rotations shorten because the games mean more and you can't afford, Burks to have a bad shooting game like he did most of the reg season after he came to the Knicks. You cant have Sims have silly mistakes like he did yesterday, that's why they were not getting playing time, in playoffs games one or 2 mistakes could decide a game. If everyone was healthy, I bet you JB, Donte, OG, Randle, and IHart would start. And Deuce, Boggy, JHart and Mitch would come off the bench, what more could you ask for? What Burks showed in the past 2 games, he didn't show in the reg season, of course you're not gonna trust that he suddenly finds it. Is it nice to see goin forward, yes, but nobody expected Burks to give this team anything in the playoffs.

He did use his bench. Dante, hart, hartensteij were all bench players to start the season. Their starting counterparts had injuries that had to do 0 with too many minutes. We are playing with our third string team now

This is Thibbs fault. In games 1-3 Josh hart played 48, 48, 43 minutes. Donte played 44,44,44. Jalen played 44, 32(missed the 2nd qt when he got hurt), 38. The 4 games OG had played before he got hurt 47,50,45,42. Thibbs will get you to the playoffs then run you ragged, get players hurt and lose.

@@robertromero8452 Yes they have injuries. But what Thibbs is doing isn’t helping. The Knicks still have 12 active players. He needs to stagger Jalen, Donte and Josh’s minutes so that they each play no more than 38 minutes but you have two of them on the floor at all times. He’s also going to have play 9 players not 7. The main 3 plus Hartenstein, Precius, Mcbride, Burks, Shake, and Sims.

He was playing his bench. Donte, Hartenstein, and Josh Hart were the Knicks bench. Robinson got hurt landing on a foot, so Hartenstein became the starter and Sims took the bench spot. Randle got hurt in Feb, so Josh Hart took Randle's spot. Achiuwa played the bench. Grimes got traded for Bogdonavich. Donte took Grimes' spot. OG took RJ Barrett's minutes after the trade. McBride took IQ's minutes on the bench. Once OG got surgery from bone spurs on top of Randle's injury is when the Knicks started playing heavier minutes overall. Randle's injury was bc he got undercut in the air and landed on his shoulder.

Knicks are the higher seed over Indiana.

Maybe all the injuries have finally caught up with them. They are still standing essentially playing with only seven guys, which is a tremendous achievement. Regardless of what happens in the rest of the series, I'm proud of this team and I think Knicks fan should be. But I think a lot of the blame rests with Thibs. You can't run your starters into the ground, especially in today's NBA. When you don't give your bench guys minutes, how do you expect them to step up when needed? He does this to every team he's coached.

Outside of OG who was running full speed and pulled is hammy none of the injuries sustained were fatigue injuries… Randle dislocated his shoulder on a driving play in the third Quarter of a heat game in the middle of the season Mitchell Robinson is perpetually injured but was only playing 20 min a game average because he was splitting time with hartenstein. And embiid possibly had a hand in it. Bojqn was playing 20 min a game off the bench and Nicolas batum landed on his ankle so tell me where’s the pattern of fatigue injuries

Only 1 Knick was in the top 20 (Brunson at 14) for minutes per game btw. 3 in the top 100 with the lowest being in the high 80s. Bulls, Lakers, Suns, Kings, Mavs & Bucks had two players each in the top 20 but sure Thibs runs his players into the ground.

The whole reason those people are missing is because of the style of play to begin with. you can't list the problem and say you must do this when doing this is what brought them to that point anyway.

Thibs may be in this position with this many injured players because he overplays his starters. It’s not disconnected.

Pacers should have been 3-1 game 1 the Refs played against the Pacers. Haliburton is up there as the young guys to watch. Pacers went to the finals in the in season tournament. Haliburton PER from sept-Dec was on par with Curry's first mvp season. He got injured and also hard to maintain that. But Haliburton showed he has a MVP mode in him. He just needs to be on that level for potentially 17 games remaining.

Guys we have like a 15 years sample size that Thibs’ method leads to his teams being injured and gassed this is not complicated lol. These are human beings, even animals gets rest, you can have all the nutritionist in the world on your team, we talking training and then you are playing on one day rest, yes Thibs ran them to the ground and now it is time to collect and the collection is happening smooth. Knicks, with home court advantage, barely beat the Sixers (who were in the Play-In tourney) and got crowned title contenders. Even if they somehow beat the Pacers, they're absolutely not winning the ECF
