I know this video was made to just promote Pantene, but I’ll watch it over & over again just to watch Kelsey play in Kendra’s long beautiful hair! Black women can be healthy, Youthful, Educated, and have long hair. I love these two! 😍😍😍 These ladies are goals! Great role models!

Your moms old life sounds just like mine right now. I have 5 year old identical girls. I spent 5 hours on Saturday washing drying and braiding my girls hair. Whenever i put bubbles in there hair I always take them out and put there bonnets on, it’s a lot of work but I wouldn’t dare have them walking out the house like they don’t have a mom

I remember the knocklers balls for ponytails, the hot comb with royal crown grease whoooo, and the Shirley temple curls with a curling iron from the stove. My mom really had the flick of the wrist game on point with those curlers lol. Love this video💕

Sad to say, I think about 20 years of my life I wore a relaxer. And I remember the old school hot comb. I'm surprised my hair didn't fall out at a young age. I was often sent to the beauty shop, which I hated. I'd get roller sets and have to sit under the dreaded hooded dryer. And I remember the ponytail holders with the balls on the ends. I'm so happy to be natural.

This is a wonderful addition to what you all have in your brand arsenal. What I love most is this is what some sisters do for each other which is really sweet! Please do more and I remember the klucker balls even though I'm a seventies baby. I can relate to the combing of the hair because my mom combed my hair everyday and I had alot and was long and wavy. I'm thankful for that example of hair care because it enabled me to continue taking great care of the health as well as my lengths. Keep doing beautiful things queens!

I'm older than y'all but I remember those hair balls. I had thick, long, wavy, hair. I remember my mom using a comb & brush, a cup of water & Blue Magic grease or Ultra Sheen grease on my hair! She did it every other day or two but took those balls out at nite lol. U reminded me of my childhood with that story! Thx!😗

Love hearing you guys talk about your mom. I have a 25 year old daughter and a 10 year old and I had so many of the elastic ball barrettes. I would do my daughters’ hair each morning and wouldn’t let them sleep in those barrettes. I remember the teachers asking me if I did their hair everyday. When I said yes, they were amazed, because most parents didn’t do that and you could tell. I just took pride in that.

Great video! Kendra's hair came out nice! Oh my goodness! Yes! I was so glad when my mom was finished with my hair when I was a kid, it took forever for my mom to do my hair! She relaxed my hair cuz I begged her (big regret) lol! After that, it was heat city for me lolol, I loved doing different things to my hair until it started breaking, so I transitioned and have been natural since the beginning of high school. Them hot combs, whew! I'm so glad those days are over!!! This video is such throw back cuz yall talked about childhood/growing up memories that many of us can relate to, it was really good to listen to yall. : )

I remember that hot comb..I got touched quite a few times ( lower neck, forehead and ears)... probably burned because of the blue magic grease, being used 😊 ...and yes, grew up with those hair knockers too, on plaits 😄. OMG I can't believe u been natural that long and never worn a twist out....your results came out great.
