We would all make the most of our social position and family connections if that helped us pursue our dreams. No shame there. Yeah I agree. She did work hard to get to where she is but her family connections definitely got her further in her career. I even remember how she did this interview on how selective she is with what runway shows she gets to walk in because of her anxiety, and other models don't have that kind of privilege to decide on what shows they don't feel like attending even if it is due to their mental health.

No offence, I'm sure she's worked hard but till this day she still doesn't recognize her privilege. Just saying I made a book with pictures of me and then "Kris Jenner did her thing" is LITERALLY privilege itself - she didn't have to find her own agent which a lot of girls struggled in the first place and the fact that she CAN go to Europe for castings.

Well I think because in 2009 (aside from Gigi who started young but returned in 2011) she is the first from her generation that came from 'social media/celebrity related' model. During that time.. if I'm not mistaken for he Kardashian/Jenner's are not yet a sought after celebrities by high-end luxury/fashion icons.. they are more like z-d list class (I guess) of celebrity wherein they are like 'looking for paparazzi, trying to rub elbows with celebrity or be in the hotspots' to be seen and have their name printed out there (good or bad they see no problem with it) and not like now that they are the IT, the news. And during that time reality show celebrities are looked down upon by the GP and of course the crème of the crop society. So, some or most high end magazines and luxury brands won't allow or hire a model from a reality shows especially from an infamous family. There are even rumors that 'they'll not touch a KarJenner with a nine feet pole' phrase. That's why they might not hire her by association to the infamous family. So it's quite believable that she gets a harder time in getting booked for high end brands but she can still definitely get a job from a low-middle class of fashion /magazine brands. She sets her goals for the higher brands from the get go so it was more challenging for her.. I guess

I’m confused. She said she had no interest in fashion and just rode her horses and did sport yet when questioned on how she got so far so quickly in modelling she said she went to every casting in the US and Europe and worked harder than anyone else. She pretends that being famous has made it harder for her to find a job but infact she actually gets jobs because momager kris is very good at making deals so that her kids an earn as much money as possible. A lot of other models who actually work hard tweeted about how kendall demands special treatment in every fashion show. Kendall even mocked other models and said "why are they working to much?" Well miss "Kendoll" some people actually work hard to earn their meals and pay their bills.

I liked it when she said I’m not ashamed that I have a type - you go girl. I’ve always liked Kendall because she seems the most down to earth compared to the others. She is also still not comfortable talking in public and doesn’t interview well IMHO. It’s like she is there but she’d rather be somewhere else.

It’s funny cuz when (Kendall) came to Brazil, she said that Gisele Bundchen was her idol and that she wanted to be just like her! And there’s a documentary about Gisele where she says that she was just a tomboy and didn’t know anything about fashion (which is totally right since she comes from a very small town in Brazil) and didn’t want to be a model and just wanted to be a professional volleyball player. Then in a trip to São Paulo an important guy from a big agency saw her (Gisele) and convinced her to give it a try to modeling, because of her height and different beauty. And I’m sure Kendall saw this documentary, since she said herself se was obsessed with Gisele. Now, years later, Kendall is saying all the same things! And if I’m not wrong (I’m not), Kendall did a book full of photos when she was 14 yo and gave to her mom saying that she wanted to be a model! And in interviews she said she dreamt about being a model since she was 7. Lol. Funny. Just FUNNY. I used to like her, but she’s just fake bro.

@@Gghhb664 Exactly! I was born in a family with only brothers, so growing up I played all the boys' game, I was far away from make up and stuff. And I used to believe that I'm a tomboy. But now in my 20s, when I look back I definitely was not a tomboy. So maybe as a kid Kendall believed not liking make up or being interested in sports make you a tomboy. But God! now you're 25, at least now you should know what tomboy is!!! And yeah, acc to Kendall's logic Kourt is definitely a tomboy. Infact, even in her 40s she's more fit and active than Kendall.

The thing about Kendall’s situation is that she had the opportunity and resources to make mistakes along the way. She didn’t start out as an amazing model but people gave her time and trust to become better because of her name. Same with Bella Hadid, not really runway material in the beginning. Now she is good, but other people don’t get opportunities like that. They have to be groundbreaking from the get go.

All these people correcting Kendall when it’s her life and her journey as a model. If she says that her being in a reality show helped but ALSO made it difficult then that’s how she felt, period. She just said that she knew that she has that platform which meant that she recognizes the fact that she’s privileged but have u ever asked yourself too why does she need to always highlight the fact that she works hard for her career? Except it's not just "period". Kendall was very young when she started out and not very good, which even she has admitted herself. Compared to someone like Kaia Gerber who started out at age 16- both have relatively famous backgrounds, yet Kaia at age 16 was much better than Kendall at age 16. Surely, it's no mystery kendall evolved with time, but for starters wasn't required to be as good as as most of her other peers at the time. She has had her mom reach out to modelling agencies throught her contacts and have a professional modelling portfolio taken to have it around in circulation for agencies - which mind you, is very expensive. She's gone through rampwalk training at age 14 - which again good for her, but another privilege that majority of the people in the modelling industry didn't have acess to at that age. And the exposure from the show yada yada, which is okay - it's not like she needed the show after her career as a model took off. But if you think about it, she didn't quit starring in the show, despite saying some agencies were skeptical because she's on tv too - it's because they weren't skeptical and they knew the exposure helped significantly. Kendall is hard working no doubt, but she's had a different path while starting out - which she chooses to believe it wasn't.

Here kris says that kendall wouldn't allow any of them in her shows, yeah sure kendall actually yelled the hell out of caitlyn while telling her she was not allowed to go to her show, I mean her own dad. No matter how rich and famous you are nobody should be so disrespectful to their parents. She does not think twice before doing something disrespectful to kylie, kris, caitlyn, rob, corey, waitresses etc. She thinks she is above everyone else and can be very mean sometimes. She fake pretends she is nice but she always end up showing how rude she is. Somehow people got this perception of her being nice and they kept on thinking that way without actually seeing how she really acts.

And she is not naturally beautiful. Yes she is pretty and always have been but she is not natural (another misconception). She's had many surgeries done (nose job, eyebrows lift, lip fillers and just recently breast implants) but people somehow still have the concept of her being natural. You don't need to know her personally to know shes had surgeries, you just need to see some before and after pictures. But people love to shame her sisters for having plastic surgeries and completely ignore that kendall has had surgeries too.
