I played it and got 18 points on the first one and 30 on the second. The guy on the second one got the maximum 39 points. Very clever he was. Great to hear it back again
These questions seem to be a bit more harder now... but I still listen because Ken is an awesome presenter and I've learned a lot by listening to him carefully. One day when I'm a few years older I'll phone in
The new PopMaster jingles are okay in my opinion, but not as good as the dramatic PopMaster jingle used on Radio 2.

Managed to miss PM today so thanks for this. Very good rounds today and Ken sounding totally at home.

What can I say Ken Bruce is a total legend? I'm glad is on Greatest Hits Radio. I just wish Steve Wright would come across as well

His voice sounds different, I don't know if its compressed or what, just sounds wrong. Great to hear him back but hope they can sort out how he sounds!

Yes, the mics/EQ have lost the bass and midtones. Too much treble.

The afternoon broadcast by licence agreement has to be either regional or local beteen 13:00 and 16:00

@Me You I am aware of the opt out and regional breakfast output is cheap nasty and horrible. Besides Hits Network use the local facility in the morning for breakfast output so it wouldn't be possible

Well TBH Steve Wright could be fit into the afternoon slot 1-4pm on GHR I bet his choice of the lunchtime anthems would be excellent
I thought there was a bit of Rob Brydon two days too late - ‘t shirts being manufactured somewhere around the world’. Well done to the contestant who got 39 but rounds avoiding the last 30 years always seem easier!
Ken is almost as old as Mike Sweeney (75 and still bopping on GMR).
Still managed to get Scottish contestant as first on new show.
Radio 2 is not the same without Ken presenting PopMaster and most importantly for me, the Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final on a Saturday night in May.
Well impressed Ken got Steven Hawkins to voice the countdown... good to have Ken back..... PS...a rottweiler called Rodney???

The guy who scored 39 knows darn well he is good. forever telling everyone on digital spy forums he scores 39 day after day. So wished the guy he beat in champions league would have reversed the result
Does anyone post pop master on KZread daily? I was able to listen to radio 2 in the US, but cannot get GHR 😢

Yes he does sound different less bass more treble perhaps a cheap mic

@@MultiJoe84 I listened to his show in the car yesterday and it did sound like him. The jingles are terrible but I’m just glad Ken’s back on the radio. Aw ra best.

Sorry to tell you that the Popmaster jingle still belongs to the Beeb. Ken retains the quiz format, which is why he can run the quiz on GHR.😮

Its just his radio 2 show badly invaded by far too many adverts! Plus the same records every day all week! Disgrace or what! 1 box of records.
Tuned in for a bit, it was bland. Same old dross, 'safe' music every other station plays. Went back to Boom, at least they play something different.
Recording of his voice is not a patch on how the BBC made him sound. Its all high to mid tone, but he is best recorded with a bassier feel. What a shame.
Worse thing leaving Radio 2 !... nobody listening to pop master on greatest hits radio !....Pop Master on radio ,2 !..
