Rest in speed Ken Block. An epic icon of this era. A legend of the Motorsport community. An amazing man, father, and all around human being. We all miss you and all you stood for. Your investment into your family, your children, and into Lia Block and her future in Motorsport was certainly deliberate because you knew you were on borrowed time. Thank you 🙏 #kb43ver ❤️
It might not be the best gymkhana to date, but for it to be Ken’s final gymkhana, I wouldn’t want it any other way. Just foot down 130%, no hesitation, fearless tire-shredding in one of the nation’s most iconic locations. Thank you Ken, for you inspired much more than you could have imagined. Rest peacefully.

It is my hope for Lia to pursue her peace and passions by following her heart. I would love for her to carry on her father's legacy, and she likely will. Yet she owes us nothing. She will carry on her father's legacy by following her own passion and drive wherever it leads. We will have to wait and see as I'm quite sure she has never yet imagined racing without her father in the mix. Whatever she decides to do with her future is absolutely valid. I'm so glad Ken was able to be part of her first racing experiences, her first car, her getting her license, etc. We can absolutely see that what Ken already gave us was possibly nothing compared to what was to come. May he RIP.
The filming of this was nothing short of EPIC! R.I.P. KEN I'm glad you got to rip around in the Audi I'm pretty sure that was a childhood dream. You will be missed TREMENDOUSLY.
Even though I've seen this many times, when I re-watch this it STILL makes my jaw drop.

Yes, those old Audis are really amazing. The 5 cylinder engine in each of them is a masterpiece. In my earlier days working at Audi I had the luck to see a few of them. The new E-Tron GT is a real successor 💯
That was the best AUDI commercial I've ever seen
That was funny. The sound that car was making instead of the usual sound of a rally slag just kept me in stitches
As someone who has been a lifelong automotive enthusiast, I can safely say that Ken Block touched all of us with the way he drove and pushed the boundaries of what we thought was possible behind the wheel of a car. He inspired me to follow my passion for photographing and filming cars, and it truly hurts to know this will be the last Gymkhana that he will bless us with. Thank you, Ken.
Man, those tires took some beatin'. You can see how many attempts it took to make that reverse entry at 2:14. What an electrifying run. One love Hoonigan!

Another cool thing about that is look at where the tire marks started, the one that made the film is when he got the deepest. I feel like he just kept going at it saying "I can hit it faster". Dudes an animal.
Not having the beautiful purr of a 1,200 horsepower block engine makes me sad. The video was still really good but damn, makes you realize how much you enjoy a traditional engines revving and sound in the older videos.

I would say thank you to Ken Block for pulling me here in the Hoonigans rabbit hole since the 7th Gymkhana and hooked me again with the 1st Climbkhana. May you Hoon in peace, brother.
Was just in Vegas and found myself under the sign where Ken drove. You can still see the tire marks in the road. ❤️❤️❤️
I love that we randomly chose the same date to drop a fun video!! Nice work. Time for a This vs That? Hoonitron vs Mach-E 1400!

Indeed. My day job involves Unreal Engine 5 (No, not that type of engine!), and I was trying to see if the Vegas backdrops were synthetic live 3D simulations as used so well in The Mandalorian on Disney+, with only Ken and his trustEV steed the real thing. But no, it’s a mix of cooperation with Vegas authorities (“Clear the streets! Ken’s in town!”), brilliant videography and of course Ken’s skill.
cant believe i wont be seeing Ken anymore , im from trinidad and tobago so you know how far homie inspired me from, i'll miss you hope Leah does what daddy does best GO FAST.... from the words of Ken "if you're not scared you're not going fast enough" R.I.P Legend
This might actually be the coolest thing I've seen ever, rip legend you made me fall in love with rally and with cars in general
Since the first gymkhana video I’ve always felt like a kid looking at hot wheels commercials when these things come out. Once again I’m left with that knot in my throat feeling, overwhelmed at seeing a car perform in such a way.. salute to ken going absolutely mental with this machine. This should make all car enthusiasts smile just a little bit even with all the Audi inspired history sprinkled in.
