Kempower's Dynamic Power Sharing Explained
Ғылым және технология
Dynamic power sharing solves many problems related to queues and charging availability at public EV charging stations. In this video, Kempower's Joseph Moore, Sales Manager for the UK & Ireland, gives an introduction to the dynamic power sharing of the Kempower Satellite charging system.

Great solution. I hope you sell a lot of this platform across the globe.
Great video explaining the benefits of truly dynamic power sharing!

Thanks so much!
Very well and comprehensive explanation of Power Sharing.

Thank you! ☺
Cool charging technology, but where's the roof over the charging stations?
Basically it means the more cars are charging the longer it's gonna take, just like most other chargers.
Really interesting concept. However I'm surprised that you don't fit bollards in front of the chargers!
Great video, however, just feedback, get a better microphone. Something is wrong 😅
Why not just make all the satellites have 2 cables each? With the cost of the unit and installation surely the cable doesn't add much more cost? Better for more people to be able to charge, even if a bit slower. The speed will increase dynamically when possible as you explained.

It is possible to have 2 cables on our Kempower Satellite charging solutions. It is up to the charging point operator, which option they want purchase.
I suppose you could call it a very balanced solution 😁
mono audio recording kinda kills experience of watching this, can't u add retroactively stereo? just even by dubbling mono ;)
this is great but there should be more power available. There is not 400kw almost anywhere, its usually 150-250kw and that does nothing during rush hours att the chargers. How can Tesla V3 handle this so much better?

V3 Chargers are 2,5 times more powerful (a 1000 kW max for the V3 and 400 kW for the Kempower chargers)

They should not connect 4-8 stalls to only 150-400kw power units. That is not enough and is not a solution for a rapid charging system in the near future. Maybe poweshare 400kw to max 3 or 4 stalls and 150 to max 2 stalls.@@DBGE001

@@htt7o more plugs is good for redundancy, if they get broken or if people don't park sensibly (or the chargers are ICED). also a lot of cars slow down significantly through their charge curve, having more plugs allows that power to be used, maximising the potential of the available power.

@@katelights well the good thing is that they can uppgrade/add the inverters for more total power. It is a problem for now with other than Teslas. Long riad trips in the winter without Tesla chargers is a nightmare during high seasons
This make me want to invest in a dogshit
How many gas cars can be filled from a single gas pump in the same time as you can charge one car with one charge point. Work out the income for both per hour and weep. This is just one reason why not one single ev charge company can make a profit despite no staff being necessary. Even when you charge twice the cost for the energy than you pay for it, some even three times the cost you still can't get that business plan to make a sustainable profit. Then there is the meantime between failure of your charge unit compared to a gas pump and your associated costs to repair/replace. Are you sure you have really thought this plan through?
