Kelvin Tatum .... Never heard of him. Then I started watching speedway .. The commentary was a Brit ... Doing an outstanding job I might add. Had to find out who he was ... Great voice wish he was on the MotoGp commentary team aswell.

I love Kelvin Tatum's style whether as a race commentator or on these fact tutorials.. he's absolutely brilliant!

Coming from the USA, team riding is a bit alien to me. There was only a brief period of team riding in the 70's in Southern California for two seasons. It didn't catch on. On the face of it, it looks a bit unsportsmanlike to block another rider, and certainly if you did that during individuals racing you might have words in the pits about it. Sure it happens, but if it looks intentional, the gloves come off and anything goes......we've all seen that happen.

Liking these little speedway fact files, can we have more please Kelv. Sprockets, never really got the hang of how a tooth can make so much difference for example.

SON is much like the old World Pairs championship, real team riding instead of riders from four different countries in each heat.
