Kelsey's Game Room Tour 2019!
Ойындар
Alright, you’ve been asking for it...here it is! The game room tour! The audio in the beginning is not great as I ended up having to use the camera mic, but beyond that it should be okay so bear with it!
I had some fun going through my collection and trying to find the interesting stuff. Hope you enjoy -- and look forward to more history stuff soon!

Totally agree with you. Cannot believe that it's been 4 years since her last video. I know, and am sure, that she has much more important things going on in her Life than KZread but it's just odd how she just all of a sudden stopped making videos.
I have yet to visit your new apartment and see the game room! Perfect timing :)

I've definitely wanted to see your collection for awhile now. I figured it would be super unique and interesting; I was not let down. Great collection & your collecting philosophy is interesting to hear. Thanks for sharing!
I like how she only collects things that she likes rather than just focusing on how are the item is.
Thanks for the tour, Kelsey! I always enjoy your videos with Metal Jesus. Thanks for always being willing to share your knowledge and opinions on retro games!
This was one of the most fun and best Game Tour videos I've seen! You go into a lot of great detail about what you have, and don't rush anything. Your passion oozes out as you speak! Awesome Video!
Nice game room, Kelsey! You deserve credit for using 50% of your rooms for games, too! That's pretty cool.

Really neat collection, some really different and impressive games, accessories etc...thanks for showing 👍

Thanks for this cool collection video. I love it. I’d much rather see collections like this featuring weird, rare and quirky stuff instead of the usual “look at my NES collection” videos we see on KZread.

I love all the random weird stuff you have! I don't have a general games collection just because I tend to not buy stuff I don't actively play, but I am a HUGE Metal Gear Solid fan, so I have a huge Metal Gear collection. All the games of course, as well as figures, other random stuff and even some of the consumables such as a Calorie Mate from MGS3.
I love your collection! Brings back a lot nostalgia!
"Delightful weird stuff" nuff said. Loved it.
Oh, how I can relate to getting those "Uuuh, your collection is sooo small and incomplete, you're not to be taken seriously." Comments. Keep doing your thing, collect whatever makes *you* happy and forget about what the rest has to say. If they like it, fine. If they don't, try not to care. Easier said than done, I know, yet it is possible! Keep it up! Small edit: I can relate far better to a collection with a person behind it, than to a "complete" one. The story of the first type is far more interesting.
@nowonmetube
5 жыл бұрын
"The story of the first type" is that how you say it in English? I know you say "the latter" if you mean the last thing. But the one prior? I asked this myself yesterday, so I wondered what's grammatically correct.
@memnarch129
5 жыл бұрын
@@nowonmetube Most use the word Former when referring to the first of two previous stated words/phrased. But I can understand what Matzen meant. They meant the story of the first type "of person" is more interesting. Thats another thing odd in english is that if a certain word or phrase can be understood to be there even if not written you dont have to put it there. It confuses non english speakers as those who learn english natively get used to works missing but being understood to be there.

100% agreed but a complete one can have an great reason behind it as well not saying thats the case all the time but it is possible. my aim for a complete vita set has a reason as well. not to brag or something but because its my swan sung at least what modern game is concerned after the vita and 3ds I am out. there will be retro left ofcourse but modern gaming is dead for me. and since the vita has verry little shovelware (till lrg etc came around and releasing some verry crapy games) is dieble with the amount of games and some other reasons I decided to go for it.

When you're in the collecting game for long enough you just learn to ignore those kinds of elitists within the community. I used to be pretty active in a few forums and it just got old after a while. Now I rarely interact with many collectors outside of some local guys and the occasional online trade or sale. Some people take their "fun" too seriously and think everyone else should do things the exact same way that they do them. I'm not that person nor do I have much inclination to interact with those types of people anymore.
@CoatiRoux

@@memnarch129 @nowonmetube That is exactly what I meant, the first "type of collector". Although English grammar has never been one of my strong assets, I get along quite well.
Hi Kelsey I'm from Australia so all PAL here. Great to see your collection very impressive, I have just over 500 games and 20 or 30 consoles, I did have heaps of hand held's but sold most of them off, mostly because hard to get parts for some of them, I kept a few but mostly i like to collect the big consoles, your collection is amazing makes mine seem small now. cant wait to see more of your video's.

This! I actually kind of prefer having a smaller collection of stuff I actually like as opposed to just collecting for the sake of it. I only buy games that I love to play and only have a handful of games. I see no reason to spend money on games Im not gonna even play cause they suck... Quite the collection. Love the ribbon in your hair.
I love your collection. I'm primarily a retro collector and I sometimes get negative comments about the quantity of titles I'm showing so I can really relate. I don't tend to show off or buy common games, unless I want to play them - same as you. It would be really easy to have a huge collection if you just buy a bunch of things that everyone has, but the point in collecting, for me at least, is to have things worth having. It's easy to have 20 copies of Super Mario Bros or Super Mario 3, they were pack-in titles; I don't think it makes a collection better to show those things. I have tons of duplicates due to buying old sale boxes from yard sales and flea markets and such, but if I show any of those titles, it will be just 1 copy. I have more than 10 copies of Legend of Zelda in gold, but my shelf only has 1 gray cart, because they are unusual. For me, a much bigger point of contention is that for my NES/SNES/64 titles, I don't have any boxes, it's all just the carts. Everyone hates that so much! I like complete games, boxes, manuals, it's cool. But more important to me is the game itself, so that's what I personally collect. Don't let people get you down over size and especially common titles, you have limited space, and you're collecting the things that YOU want to collect, and that's what really matters.
The hair bow is super cute. Loving your Japanese centric collection. Im pretty proud of my new Final Fantasy I and 2 Wonderswan boxed consoles I got way back when .
been collecting for the past 15 years and I am still not at your level, forget the negetive, keep up the great work!!!
I can't believe the WonderSwan released a dev. kit, that's so cool. Watched you show off the system on a MJR video and I was impressed by what players had developed utilizing the kit.
