Uhh... first of all... I am a Falcons fan, and I have no problem with the Penix pick... at all. Too many rookie QBs are thrown to the wolves these days. Some do well, but more often than not, they get chewed up & spit back out. Of the 32 QBs drafted in the 1st round of the last ten years, the ones that did well... Mahomes (sat a year), Allen, Lamar, Burrow, Love (sat 3 years), Herbert, Stroud (so far), Goff (had to change teams), maybe T-Law, Mayfield (4th team), Tua & Kyler... and the jury is still out on Richardson & Bryce Young. However there's a bunch of others that didn't do so hot... Pickett, Zach Wilson, Fields, Lance, Mac Jones, Haskins, Rosen, Darnold, Trubisky, Wentz, Paxton Lynch, Winston & Mariota. Not saying Penix is a slam dunk, but I don't believe drafting based on most immediate need is the best way to go. This was a weak class for defensive players, as the first one didn't get taken until the 15th pick. So, if they really believe Penix is the real deal, why not take him even though he'll likely sit for 2-3 years? Cousins is coming off an ACL tear... and is no spring chicken. Hopefully they have him for a few years before the wheels fall off, and if they do... they don't have to scramble for a QB, because they already have the guy they think will be aound for a decade. So, think of it like this... if a QB that you viewed as a Mahomes, Burrow or Josh Allen type player was available at your pick in the draft, but you knew you probably wouldn't be able to play him for 2-3 years, would you still take him? And, secondly... grade the Flowers explosion!

Raiders also signed Gallup from the cowboys, might has well kept Renfro

I bought one zenith blaster from Walmart today and pulled a fourth down CJ Stroud /25. I got unusually lucky. Great vid!

Check to make sure that none of those are numbered. I opened 3 of these and there were two /100 that i didn't see until i looked through all the cards again. Cam Smith and Anthony Richardson /100. Also pulled a sick Stroud Zeal of Approval Red. Also Great Video

I'm a Falcons fan and I think the picks were interesting, but def not terrible. Who knows how healthy Kirko is going to be coming off the achilles, also there is a clause in his contract that ATL can terminate after 2 years. Penix is our future QB and he wasn't going to be around in the 2nd round. The majority of our picks after were D line and LB oriented. To be honest the Jase McClellan pick surprised me more than the Penix pick. That just tells me that they are not going to renew Tyler Allgeier after his contract is done.
