    The only time I watch the tour is when Kelly surfs, so when he retires you guys better do a lot more of these videos.

    I dig the new layups they are coming out with these days. Keeps boards feeling refreshed without having to redesign the board itself.

    I just bought on frk+.. OMG it's going to be hard to ride any other board now.. It's seems connected to my brain. So responsive with the narrow tail, easy to paddle thanks to the extra foam at the top, amazing rail to rail thanks to the cut at the low level of the rails.. ❤ And the construction.. What! So light but not to much to take off like a breeze.

    @@francoisnadal5391 interesting!, those are pretty decent but not huge waves. my buddy told me that model needs punchier type waves to make it work and not make the surfer work too hard. i live in san diego, so decent waves but not huge

    The reason you don’t care is because you’re the man you are the goat and you don’t have to prove nothing to nobody is I think how many people paddle out a big days don’t get waves just so they can say they paddled out. It’s kind of silly.

    Question: Are they glassed in epoxy or PU. Also how do you sell to a surfer who likes pressure dings in their boards (Example: Wearing in your front foot sweet spot) ?

  • @foxgd9117

    @foxgd9117

    Glassed I think epoxy or some special stuff but feels good, the board is able to be dented but mainly a front footed surfer, because after pushing down so much you will eventually dent it (apparently it’s like 15% stronger than lft)

    Epoxy is the type of resin which is generally used with Eps foam, expanded polystyrene. Pu stands for polyurethane which is a type of foam not resin, which are normally glassed with polyester resin and are referred to as Pe/pu. Eps can only be glassed with epoxy resins as polyester melts polystyrene, though you can glass a regular polyurethane blank with epoxy resins. Firewire use eps blanks and epoxy resins and all also vacuum bagged to remove the excess resin from the lay up, the cloth, when using epoxy it needs to be wetted properly but doesn't need a thick coat of resin to remain on it to make it stronger, infact they almost look too dry when they are taken out of the vac bags once cured.

    😈😈😈 its not the board that makes the surfer ... he's one of a kind a freak which maybe no one in history will ever be able to conjure such agility with abilities 😈😈😈 its proven as he is the only one who he has to impress as he still makes an impression in surfing as his name will always resonate till kindom come , where we'll all meet on the shores as a gigantic tidal wave hits the land from an asteriod hit ... and who will be dropping down that face in a late take off ? 😈😈😈😈😈
