I love this song. It is very inspiring to me. Because she is saying that no one knows you that talks bad about you. Why do people talk bad about you behind your back? Just say it to their face. If you get beat up once. I'm sure you won't ever try to tell lies and try to know someone when you don't ever again. So my advice is to keep thoughts to yourself and to not read a book by it's cover. Get to know some one before trying to say things behind their backs and not say it to there face.

ik this song is about a relationship but i relate to it differently I see it as a person dealing with depression and anxiety and fighting out of that pit of hell that they're stuck in "oh you think that you know me, know me. thats why im leaving you lonely, lonely" ^ i see this as someone fighting against the negative thoughs brought from depression maybe they're feeling worthless or ugly just some kinda negative feeling that depression is feeding them, acting like it knows the person better than they know themselfs "cause baby you dont know a thing about me" the relization that these thoughs arent true and its them learning to accept themselfs and to fight these negative thoughts "you aint got the right to tell me when and where to go no right to tell me. acting like you own me lately" I see this as someone having anxiety about leaving the house or feeling to depressed to get out of their bed so depression or anxiety (or both) are controlling where that person will be which is usually at home away from the world and when that person will go out which depression and anxiety want it to be never, but they're fighting that and trying to go out saying that "you aint got the right to tell me when and where to go" "only got yourself to blame when you want me back again but i aint falling back again" this one is a bit more personal to me but since the main reason im seeing all of these things in this song is because of what i deal with and have dealt with ill explain I see this line as me in 2016 when i was dealing with suicidal thoughs and my mother found out about this i kept fighting and once i started feeling better a year and a half later maybe, i started telling myself that id never let myself fall back into that suicidal path "cause im living my truth without your lies lets be clear baby this is goodbye" also applies Thats all im really going to say because im getting a bit anxious thinking about how ppl are gonna reply to this since it is pretty personal but, i still want to post this comment since most people only see one perspective in this song, that being that its about a bad relationship
