Oh my goodness, first of all I absolutely love Kelly Clarkson,her voice is phenomenal! She seems to not only have a beautiful voice but a wonderful personality. I am a grandma of 72 years old and I raised my son alone for 42 years after leaving his father and although I have long since healed, this song could have been written for me. Second, this is a beautiful song despite the pain it speaks to it also speaks to strength,the strength that comes from healing. Kelly you never fail to bring the soul deep truth. Thank you Kelly Clarkson for always bringing the truth and the fire, I know your mama must be so proud of you. God bless you Kelly 🙏🏽

I’ve always said that Kelly Clarkson set the bar when she won the 1st American Idol. Her voice and range is impeccable. After hearing this song and listening to the lyrics, she has once again proven her top notch talent. She has TRULY elevated her stature with this velvety smooth and vibrant vocals to tell her story of self worth. WOW! I see this song as an anthem for all who have found the strength to stop the cycle of emotional abuse and trauma. Bravo Kelly!

This is my favorite Kelly song. Also Lighthouse, wow. I don't think she gets the acknowledgement she deserves for her writing and vocal ability. I think she's amazing .

Once again, I'm stuck sitting here speechless. Kelly always finds a way to one up herself. The vocals on this track are insane! 🙌💅🥰

honestly there is no hook. We need her to work with people who works with adele, old sam smith, ed sheeran. Vocals is one thing, but you need hooks to sell songs and make it popular. This song is lyrics and vocal based but no melody.

@@Just_The_Facts393 this makes my heart happy. I’ve learned healing is not a linear journey, so be patient with yourself. The highs & lows are to be expected. Something my therapist taught me years ago that has helped me shift my mindset is that anxiety and gratitude cannot coexist. So if you find yourself feeling low, start listing things you are grateful for (no matter how small - e.g. I am grateful for my chair so I don’t have to sit on the floor, sunglasses so my eyes are protected). It might seem silly but practiced consistently, you’re effectively creating new, positive thought patterns.

@@nicandnik Wow, thank you for the very insightful view and advice. I agree with you 100% that I have to take control of my thought patterns to literally rewire my brain. Your suggestion of focusing on gratitude in those dark moments (and there's a lot of them right now). I see that as being very effective and something I will definitely try. Mindfullness is so powerful against the low lows we feel we are going through hard things.
