I’ve watched SEVERAL of these episodes of IRL. I must say and ashamed to say-that I didn’t think I would take much away from this conversation. For whatever reason, but if I’m open and honest I figured Kelly and I culturally didn’t have anything in common. But boy. Was I WRONG! We connect as WOMEN. MOTHERS. PROFESSIONALS. And everything else under the sun. Dare I say this was the best one for me. The way Angie is so DELICATELY and SEAMLESSLY tying in other conversations with previous guests that are HEAD ON THE NAIL significant to this particular interview is CRAZY. Lauren and Mike Tyson: EGO. Kelly Rowland: Father issues. I just am over the moon ❤️ Angie, thank you.

An amazing woman and human being. She doesn't place blame, takes ownership of her feelings and even though her ex was a TRUE dirtbag doesn't focus on him or making him the bad guy. Even if she didn't have kids with him I don't see her playing victim or acting differently. She focused on herself. Her emotions, feelings, her issues her background. A woman who had real therapy growth and maturity vs using it for social media clout. Kelly is a interesting Taurus! Enjoy the gypsy life Kelly and any guy would be lucky to fall in love with you when/if you are ready. PS I think Kelly's mom had like multiple divorces.

Kelly's amazing! Being in love is nice but it comes down to "wanting" a relationship or "needing" one. She's so smart to be aware of the difference. One of my "takeaways" I learned from a friend... asked why he ate dessert first, he said you never know what could happen between dinner and dessert, so he eats his dessert first. It makes sense cause where is it written that you have to eat it after dinner? That became, 'ETC" which stands for "eat the cake!" Thanks, for such a great interview.

i love how both women are so open about there upbring and how they grew up in a one-person household without there father figure it must hurt but look how established you both are, your both so amazing in so many positive uplifting ways, and we love it. oh and your fathers may have had such hard upbringing. not that im making excuses for them.

You have a special podcast here Angie!! Love these strong women inspiring and sharing their stories with the world. We are all human and trying to find a balance of work, peace, happiness and getting the most out of life by dealing with the stress and traumas that were given to us as children and dealing with the accumulation of traumas of living on earth. It is so complex and I appreciate you bringing on these QUALITY women to inspire! Love these podcasts! Thank you!

I have voted for her a lot in American Idol, I love this conversation with Angie. I told my husband that 13 years ago, I said it within a week of meeting him. I was sure of myself, marriage will not make me relevant, so if it comes thank Lord, if it doesn’t thank you Lord. So I want him but I didn’t need him. That still stand today, though I love him very much, we have two beautiful children. I feel like when you need someone too bad when things goes bad, you suffers more. Just my opinion.

@@mamastfelix3215 agreed. I was 11 years old that summer in 2002, but my mom and I would call on our landline as many times as we could and I have always felt connected to her. I hope to be where you are at soon. I’m in a relationship of almost 4 years now and I am madly in love with a person but also in nursing school full-time at age 31 and I want him but I also need him and I can’t wait until the day that I can tell him I don’t need his support when I only want him, because I think that that will make a huge difference in the way that he views our relationship

She has no fear of love because she’s already set boundaries that will only allow a man but so close to her heart if he can never be around her entire world/her children ❤
