the thing about kelis, if you watch her interviews after nas first bounced on her, she was praising his name & literally said she had nothing bad to say about his character. Then once nas became successful after leaving her & becoming rich everything changed. Nas owns a company & nas has been working. an active musician can be booked for months & being this is nas a lot of his business dealings as a performer are most likely overseas. nas has been around since 91 & has been in relationships with a lot of women & nobody has anything bad to say. I think kelis problem is (as with a lot of women unfortunately) He became more rich & successful without her. If nas would’ve fell off like she did kelis would be happy. She used every angle possible to tarnish his name & image & nas only responded once. Women need to hold chicks like this more responsible & just tell kelis to move on. Speaking from experience, I think the door should always be open no matter what. The relationship with the child and mother or father is a separate one, the parent who doesn’t have full custody can explain, the other parent should be able to handle the child and explain that still leaving the door open

There's so many reasons to close the door, unless you enjoy putting your child in danger.
