Keith Whitley was one of the best. Like Gordon Lightfoot. Just blessed.

If Keith Whitley wouldnt have died so young, he would have went down as the GOAT of country. The guy had 12 singles with only 2 albums, He basically had an album of singles

King George Jones could not have done it any better RIP Keith, the King is gone.

Man I'd rather listen to Whitley, Jones, and Haggard than any of the shite these so-called country stations pull out of their asses and force us to listen to today. They don't even play Alan Jackson or George Strait anymore.

if more true country fans would do what I did decades ago and turn those stations off Trashville would be forced back into real country music. only station I listen to anymore is a local l ld country station which plays hank hank jr, waylon, willie, keith (not that pop wannabe country keith), JC, and all the other traditional country music greats.

This is FANTASTIC!

When Keith was alive his music brought tears to my eyes because it was beautiful, now it brings tears because of he's no longer with us. One of the saddest days I can recall, hearing of his tragic passing.

If Keith Whitley was still alive, and if he never passed away from alcohol poison, he will be up there with some the great legends, but in my book, he is a legend rest in peace, Keith Whitley 1954-1989

Ok so I'm not sure if your talking to me or what? But number one I thought it was a great comment for the man's legacy. Kinda like aj did when he sang about hank. You can smell whiskey in the air. But as far as living ing my moms basement. I live in my own paid off home. Have been married 16 yrs. Have 3 teenage boys. Work my ass off daily. And when I do get the time to get on youtube I like my real country music. In this case I commented. So ride along little doggie.

Years ago David Keith (Officer and a Gentlemen) was working on a KW movie. However due to legal issues the movie was scrapped. As much I hate to say this but I think Justin Timberlake would make a good KW, he kinda has the looks and he respects country music.
