Heavenly Father, you heal the broken heart, you care for your beloved children, you know what we need & what your plans are for Anne. I pray that you will provide for her not out of want or just need but according to your riches in Gliry. Pick her up when she falls, direct her steps, be the lamp to her path that guides her day by day & step by step, remind her that she only has to ask you for the strength that she needs. & the wisdom required for each day but you tell us to ask for it. Remind her that she has a loving Heavenly Father who loves to showe r his children with blessings from above & the desires of our heart. But to receive we must ask you for them. How often it is that we forget that a child has no hesitation to go to her father & ask Daddy for what seems impossible to her but isn’t for her daddy, he just enjoys getting to fulfill his precious daughters request! In Jesus Name Amen

As I read your comment, I see that it has been 2 years…A Mama’s heart never forgets. The severe pain eases and in its place is a ‘missing’, but definitely healing. It’s been 38 years for me and I still think of him so often. I still cry on the anniversary of his death, but this one thing I know without a doubt, I will see him again! I will share eternity with my son and that brings great comfort. I hope your heart continues to heal and that you never forget that The LORD IS your salvation!

I'm so sorry for your loss 😢😢😢 Just know that you will see him again in heaven one day 🌌 I saw my brother in a dream walking through our local park with his arm around my Mum in 2021.......He died at 3 months of age from Pneumonia 😢 In the dream I wasn't allowed to see his face but I knew it was him.......He was aged in his late 20's. Mum was a week away from getting married, so it was an important family occasion! Our loved ones can see what is happening to us from portals in heaven 😇 They are cheering us on and want us to succeed in life! And know that the bond of love ❤ that exists between us and our loved ones never dies, it is eternal 🌌😊🤗💕 xxxxxxx

I lost my sister last year from a stroke, and was not able to attend her memorial service because of my husband health issues. I had spent time her before my husband got sick, but really wanted to be there fore the family. Sharon had a very strong relationship with the Lord and she is part of the reason I am here today. The Sunday before her service this song was sung at my church. It meant so much to me. Thank you.

Through this hard ship of adversity only the gospel music and the word of the Lord “ the Bible “ comforts me. At the moment I am going through a transition with me and my child I’m just sad that I can’t get the help I need not even from family members . The system turned me down, the people who are believers told me to lean to God only He can turn this around. I’m feeling alone at times but when I turn to listen to the gospel music it comforts me. Please keep me and my family in prayers. My fiancé has been detained and now it’s only me and my daughter alone in this place. I believe God will make a way. I know and trust He is my refuge. I lay all my hurt and problems at the throne.

There is nothing like singing good theology! God bless the Getty’s!

The negative influences of this world are designed to make our heart sick through emotional & physical pain resulting in a given person turning to music as one source of comfort to the body. The painful realty of this existence gives rise to the birth of music in two forms, earthly & HEAVENLY. Earthly music speaks to the experiences of this world through the singer-song writer’s eyes. Oftentimes drug use (i.e. alcohol, smokes, marijuana, cocaine, opioids, benzos and propofol to name a few) is intertwined with the survival of an artist to deal with the pressure of performing in order to stay relevant in the music industry, and to serve as fuel for creativity. As a result, music celebrities develop a tendency to sin against their body, through excessive drug use, for not measuring up to or to satisfy the demands of their music. Any earthly joy they experience is darkened by the heavy burden of performing and the loss of privacy. What a blessing to hear that you have been redeemed from such a hopeless god to the everlasting Savior who can & does give security for eternity! Thank you for sharing. I was raised to believe in God but was 18 when Ii gave my life to him 64 years ago. He has never failed me & my life has truly been blessed beyond measure because of that decision so long ago!

We will rise! The darkness has been overcome! The victory is won. We will receive the reward from Christ for staying close to Him and not giving in to our desires and sin and worries. He has made a home for us in heaven. Always with Christ. What a time that will be.... may Jesus hold us strong and tightly.

Amen, we are all tired of ourselfs, our own failures. we do not need tho hear that we must push ourselcesves up, 10 tips to a happy life. That will just lead to more despair! We truly need to hear the gospel every day, because we forget it every day! And because it is the only message that can bring true meaning to life, a rock in trails, in sufferings. Tell me the old story, of Jesus and his love!! When you hear, simply just listen to the true gospel, Jesus himself comes to you and lifts the burden from your shoulders. He gives rest, not the law's burden. In Jesus we have everything! We don't need to seek elsewhere!

You are so right. Too many of our churches have brought the “culture” into the worship space. Worship has become a concert and a lecture. We have just moved from the Assemblies and UMC to Anglican worship. What a difference! The music is not “worship”. The whole of the service is worship: Scripture, prayers, sermon, Eucharist. Music serves the liturgy.

I led over 50 songs during this past weekend's Southport Great Banquet. On the prompting of the Holy Spirit I swapped this song out for one I had planned. Most of the women had never heard it. But they were on their feet, singing their hearts out by that second chorus, weeping. The "Amen's" and "Hallelujahs" from this mostly reserved group of ladies knocked me off my feet. Thank you for continuing to listen to God and write down His music, Keith, and may God continue to keep your voice strong for His glory, Kristyn!

Awesome! Praise The lord - our salvation!!!!

They were in Pensacola on last Saturday evening. They sang this song and several of the new Psalm series they have been working on for the last few years. What a blessing!! I live in Mobile and my daughter and I rode over to hear them and it was so good! They turned the "concert" into a worship experience. At the end, they sang their best known song, In Christ Alone and people were standing and singing and praising God!! I recommend them highly if they come to your area. Glory to God in the highest.

Sometimes I feel like shouting when I listen to this song. Especially in September of 2020 with Could everywhere. An uncertain election around the corner and unless the Lord brings the United States a mighty revival then this country that I have grown up in and love will fall very soon. I see people all the time at work that are terrified right now of everything!!! I am sooooo thankful that my God says to fear not and just trust Him for everything!!!! Whenever I start to fear about anything then He lovingly reminds to just trust Him and fear not for He is ALWAYS with me!!! I love you Jesus!! Thanks for saving me all those years ago! You have been a faithful guide every day of my Christian walk!!!!!

Love this great song. I've been playing some of their songs for a number of years. On this video the E/G# chord is show w/ a F# instead of a G#. just though I'd mention it in case someone is trying to learn it and can't figure out why it doesn't sound right.Again, truly great song.
