When I watched the chemical bath scene in the theatres for the first time it was so damn powerful, especially with the 3D glasses. It was so captivating and mesmerizing, the impact hit me so hard. It's my favourite scene in the movie. The music was so loud and I just loved it, so beautiful!!! 😍

I have imagined so many perfect dysfunctional yet romantic moments between Harley and Joker in this music. I can't explain properly. See, I'm not an immature Dumb teen but people who have tough living go through very different love and somewhat I feel they value it unlike us, normal people who date, enjoy, get bored and then leave. Not saying they have perfect relationship but if we see Joker's lifestyle, loving Harley or even showing love to her is dangerous for him. Please help me get over this dark yet fascinating chemistry between these two. Dont start any 'abusive' rant because I already know it.

No need to get over it. I think you're absolutely right. Joker's actions are a result of 2 things: 1. His insanity and warped thinking patterns 2. His resistance to his own feelings Joker is not only insane, he's a criminal. He believes that anarchy is the best way to cleanse the world. And he's probably right. But in knowing that, he knows how to get to people's buttons. Which include loved ones. Knowing that, he ALSO knows that if he ever fell into that himself, he would be susceptible to his own exploitation. He has always loved Harley, there are certain things that prove it undeniably. But he has to keep HIMSELF on a short leash, because if he doesn't, he will stop being himself. So he feels like being that way is the only thing that will allow him to keep himself at bay while keeping her at the same time. And he's also a genius, because it works LOL

I totally agree with you. sometime I feel Joker's way of thanking is totally antisocial(because it is. Not extreme control but a bit control helps you to be more Human) but once he starts explaining, you start to second his thoughts. That's captivating and I don't know how DC actually invented such powerful character! I'm just so in love with him. I'm basically a Jared leto fan. After I heard of him playing it, I did a deep research on him and now I'm just in love with this character and all its portrayals(except Heath's. hes brilliant but he didn't give me Joker vibe). I think I'm obsessed. All day I just think Jared playing the joker who's dark humour and messing with batman always.

Well see I'm with you on everything except Heath. I loved his performance, and I loved it BECAUSE it was different. The entire point of the movie was to bring "Batman" to actual reality. How would someone in THIS world really do this? And how would someone who had the mind of the Joker REALLY be able to function in this world? And he did it perfectly. Everything Joker said in that movie was true, even if you don't want to believe or look at things that way. He wasn't supposed to embody the cartoon Joker. He was supposed to bring it to life. And he did. Unfortunately, since he did that so well, it actually became a detriment to the character, because now everyone wants it to be done THAT way LOL and that's not how it actually is. But people are dumb and can't differentiate between the two

I agree with you in a way. Heath basically built his own legacy of this character but I don't think the joker doesn't seek money. The Joker is coward or an attention Seeker time to time. He does know Harley is his best win so far as she's been quite mentally strong but he also knows that he actually seeks her deep down because that's how human body and soul is made. I found Heath a bit Hannible Lecter type. Don't get me wrong I liked him but the thing is JOKER is JOKER, he can be colorful even in real life. And tbh Joker is attractive as fuck. I even find the cartoon one attractive. I'm sick I know.

Amazing crescendos, amazing accents, just amazing everything. I think that this version was VERY appropriate for the acid bath scene tbh. It sounds so hauntingly beautiful.
