Kefalonia (Cephalonia), the largest Ionian island, is one of the best beach vacation destinations to travel in Greece. Let us invite you for a 6-minute roundtrip on the island, presenting 15 of the best beaches and other places of interest. Many drone shots, recorded with DJI Mavic Air, help you to imagine the beauty of the island.
The 2 main cultural attractions of the island are the fishing village of Fiskardo and Assos with its Venetian castle. The main three natural attractions are Melissani underground lake, Drogarati Cave and Myrtos Beach, the latter is regarded as one of the best beaches in the Mediterranean. The movie Captain Corelli's Mandolin was shot on the island itself and helped Kefalonia to become more widely known.
Kefalonia is a popular vacation destination due to its beautiful beaches and its natural environment, but less crowded compared to other Ionian islands like Corfu or Zante (Zakynthos).
There are various beaches, pebble or sandy, most of them are stretching several hundred metres (or some kms), and you can often find places to hide away from crowds. In our travel video you can have a look at the following beaches: Myrthos, Agia Kyriaki, Petani, Agia Eleni, Xi, Makris Gialos and Platis Gialos in Lassi, Avithos, Lourdas, Koroni, Skala, Limenia, Poros, Antisamos, Foki.
Other places of interest: Assos village, Fiskardo village, Argostoli town, Melissani Cave and Drogarati Cave.

Очень большой остров, нам с мужем 2 недель не хватило чтобы его объездить. Поселились в деревне Порос, мнимали номер в отеле "Dionosos" в их ресторане мы влюбильсь в греческую кухню))) особенно запомнилась мусака и соус дзадзыки!!! Тихий и мирный остров, даже нетрезвых не встречали)) русских ооооочень мало, за 2 недели встретили всего 3 семьи. Ролик отличный, приятно смотреть и вспоминать))

Any recommendations and tips? Numbers for boats?
Asos and myrtle beach, get their for 9-10am, late and its nearly all yours,leave about 1pm travel back to the acomadation but stop on the way for a ice cold mythos served in a frosted glass 😉 relax in the pool or have fun in the sea for a few hours while enjoying snacks perhaps fries and Greek salad, back home shower and rest, and then make your way out for an early evening start, lovely meal a couple of drinks and a slow meander home to the villa or apartment, god I want to go back :)

È andato Cephalonia nei prima anni 00. Bellissima di spiaggia Myrtos. Deliziosa cena nella taverna tradizionale nei via di dietro. Avevo Mousakka, sulle costa noi mangiato Granchia al freschi , Tonno Panino gli sgelare fuso freschezza. Gelati, Orangina più bottiglia di d'acqua Evian e in mare nuotava e pescava. Anche una Pizza cotta al forno alle notte.... Etc... Meravigliosa scenario. Cin cin Antonio Tiani.
