I'm building a keezer from a chest freezer but I'm really confused with beer line length. You mention changing to 3/16 pipe. Is that inside diameter? Also did you calculate the beer line (above sea level, distance keg to tap, CO2 level) or was it just to fit neat and tidy. Yours looks great . Dead jealous.

Cheers, yes 3/16 is the internal diameter, here’s a link to a calculator brucrafter.com/beer-line-calculator/ CO2 and height from middle of keg to tap need to be taken into account but you have some wiggle room, you might not always want to be serving a beer at 12 psi so it would suck you had to change the length of line just for a different type of beer (I’ve not seen anything about sea level having an impact but I’m at sea level so haven’t looked), I think 8feet is the length a lot of people settle on although one of mine is 6 because I ran out of line it’s a little more foamy but it’s not the end of the world. I’d advise go long to start and then you can cut it back if needed. Also if you can get flow control on your taps that also helps.
